Jesus’ Death and Resurrection

Importance

      There was, and is a price to pay for sin. And since all fall short of the glory of God, no one can go to heaven and be with God except by the means of a holy redemption. We humans need a redemption that is perfect and everlasting. We need a perfect sacrifice because the perfect God has asked for that and we need an everlasting sacrifice because we sin all the time. When Jesus died on the cross, he was a perfect God that died for the sake of an imperfect world, how much more perfect could you get? He was the everlasting Lamb that died on the cross for our sins and we can fully trust in that because of the prophecies and just exactly who Jesus was. In the Old Testament, God had said; that the lamb that he would give to the world would be perfect in all of his ways and he would be an eternal sacrifice to him. Death isn’t the only thing that makes us just. The resurrection of Jesus Christ proves to be just as important. Now, death has been conquered. We no longer have to fear death because we will live forever through Jesus Christ. Death had to be conquered so that way we can have a way to live forever.

Victory

            We humans couldn’t have victory over anything if it wasn’t for God. We couldn’t have victory in anything that we do, including breathing, walking, seeing. If God doesn’t want you to have ears then he’ll cut them off. This isn’t me trying to scare anyone but all I’m trying to say is that we need God for everything and that includes getting into heaven. Now that Jesus has died we can go to heaven and not hell. We have victory over our own deaths and God was the one who gave us that victory.

Our Heart

            In the Old Testament, God describes our heart and how horrible it is. He says that our heart is cold and desperately needs help. God also says that when the Lamb that was supposed to die on the cross dies for us, then he would give us a new heart if we just trust in Jesus and look for him. He says that he would circumcise our hearts and our hearts would change. I am personally a testament to those verses. I remember back when I didn’t have God with me. I used to want just filthiness and I wanted to do bad things, those were my hearts desires. God, however; had other plans. I accepted Jesus into my life a long time ago and I knew that his ways were good but I never took it seriously until I got to be around 17. That’s when I really started looking for God. That’s when I really wanted God in my life. And I can honestly say that all that I was ever taught about God is true. He is a loving God, he does understand us, he knows what he doing, and he always knows the right thing to do. He changed my heart and if he changed my heart, then I know that he can change anyone’s.

Christianity

            Christ is the center of our focus, that’s the main thing. We need to be close to Christ in order to live otherwise we are just someone else. Always be praying, always read your bible, become more Godly, become what it really means to be a Christian. This way, we can find what God wants us to do and how to do it. God speaks to us in a still small voice and we will know what God wants by our own special way. Christianity, it’s a beautiful, amazing, wonderful thing. You are happy in the midst of chaos and no one can take that happiness from you. You go to heaven in the end and all the meanwhile you receive everything that you need and if you really look for God he gives us what we want too. You become intelligent, wise, strong, powerful, not just in the sense that you can influence people or have a lot of money but powerful in the sense that you know you have an all-powerful God listening to your requests and you have nothing to worry about.
