Importance of going to church

Church is our place to recover from the weeks problems. Church enables us to hear the word of God, praise him, get to know other like minded Christians and develop our overall spirituality. Today let’s talk about the importance of church and why, if you could, should go more often. Hearing the word of God. To hear the word of God, you need to do more than just go to church. It requires us to heed the word and obey God. If we put God in our hearts, then there won’t be a problem, however, if you don’t, then problems can arise. I don’t mean to scare anyone, but; you should be aware of all the consequences that there is with not having God in your life. That’s all. Praise him. Praising God is as equally important to our relationship with him as reading your bible or praying. Godly praise is giving thanks to God with our lips and emotions. It is giving God the glory that he rightfully deserves. We give God the glory by singing to him, sharing testimonies, living like a Christian, behaving like a Christian, doing Christian things. I remember one day I was talking to my dad and he said, just the fact that you don’t curse or drink or smoke shows people that you are a Christian and it is a powerful testimony. Also a few times, I have just been at work or on the street or with people and just the way that I act they ask me if I’m Christian. I tell them yes. I am Christian. Then they ask me what church I go to and I start telling them about everything that I am. Sometimes my friends start preaching to me and it’s just a really nice time. All of this is praise Get to know other like minded Christians this should be the last thing on anyone’s list as to why church is important. The reason why I say this is because people have their own sin and hardships, so, it’s not good to go to church based off of people. You can go to church because the sermons are beautiful and you wish to know more about God, however, you should not go to church for the people because then you would leave the church in no time. People sin and do wrong things, the only one who does right is God, so we should go to church for God not the people. You can make friends at church don’t get me wrong, but, expect that anyone can sin.
