Things I love about my pastor

There are many reasons to love the pastor that preaches at my church. My preacher is honest, has the Holy Spirit, is passionate about God, and he does his best. Today let’s talk about the reasons why my preacher is so good.

He’s honest

Having an honest preacher is essential to the foundation of a ministry. It’s essential because if your preacher lies all the time, then how can you trust a word that he says? The reason why I say that he’s honest is because I read in the Bible what he reads and decide for myself if what he is saying is true.

My preacher is so honest, that he doesn’t even like to be sarcastic. He thinks that being sarcastic is lying ( in my opinion it is too but that’s a topic for another day).

The Bible says that God hates a lying tongue, so it’s best to speak the truth in every way possible.

He has the Holy Spirit

My preacher has the Holy Spirit in him because you can tell. You can tell that whenever he speaks, he’s enthusiastic about the subject and about preaching in general. It shows that the Holy Spirit is strong with him

I remember I read in the Bible that it’s best for Christians to be on fire for God. It makes sense too, if you’re going to do something, then you have to give it your all because God is worth it.

He’s passsionate about God

I said he was enthusiastic, however, he’s also passionate about God. Being passionate about God is a necessity in this life because God protects us. God keeps us from evil ways. God strengthens us spiritually, emotionally, mentally. These are all the reasons why being passionate about God is a good thing.

I remember I one time read in the Bible that if Christians aren’t “hot” for God, then it’s better that they would be cold. The Bible says that being lukewarm is the worst thing that we could do as a Christian. The reason why it’s so bad is because a God says that he would spit us from his mouth if we were lukewarm. We have lost all potency,

So it’s good to be passionate for all these reasons

He does his best

I go to a Spanish ministry, and the preacher that preaches doesn’t speak Spanish, he speaks English. So, one day, he sits down in Wednesday bible study and does an entire sermon in Spanish. I was so impressed, and the reason why he did that was because he didn’t have a translator for the evening. I was so impressed at his dedication, perseverance, strength, it was just a blessing.
