Why did I start blogging?

To spread the word of God

I wish to spread the word of God to everyone; however, it is difficult to know when is the appropriate time to speak. That is why I have made this blog: I made this blog so that way any lost soul or Christian who feels alone or misguided can find hope through Gods word and wisdom. I believe in God and I have fear in him, so I believe with that in your heart, you can’t go wrong.

This world is cold and cruel and I wish to be a light in this world. That is after all what Jesus wanted us to do in the first place is it not? I know how some of you are feeling: alone, hated, rejected; therefore, I made this blog for you. I have battled a lot: I have battled through depression, suicide, bullies, mental illness, and a wide variety of other subjects that I’m not going to say right now. The number one thing that kept me going was having faith in God that God would prevail in my life. I kept saying to myself, “God is here and he won’t let me down.” I also kept on saying that God had a plan, because he does have a plan.

I also wish to spread the word to new believers. I know that this world has a lot of different philosophies, and hope can be hard to find when these philosophies teach you things that are incorrect. So, I wish to spread hope, through God, and that hope is the correct hope that our soul needs. God is the one that prepares the heart and soul for being told the word of God, and we Christians are here just to spread the word. If a person decides to believe in God or not, then that is on them and not you or me anymore. God has to work in their lives more before they can admit that he is the sovereign ruler and his son died for our sins. I have faith that it’s not God’s will that anyone should perish; therefore, we should pray for all non believers.

To make a community of Christians that believe in the same things as I do

To say that you believe in God and love him is one thing: to actually want to meditate and react and show that you are obsessed with him is another. As Christians, we should aim to be obsessed with God 24/7 365. God should be our priority in all of our endeavors, and we should be constantly looking for ways to uplift him above ourselves. I know what you’re saying, “but German, didn’t God give us free will to choose how to worship him?” Yes he did but he also says strictly in the Bible how we should be praising him and be concerned about him. God will lead us to the right way, we just need to pray, read our Bible, and go to church and sure enough, God will reveal to us his mighty plans.

In later blog posts, I will go over what exactly is what God wants, what are his rules and how is Christians should behave. But for right now, let’s focus on one thing at a time.

To glorify God

I wish to put Gods name on high: I wish to glorify him. I wish to show people just exactly what having God, can do in your life. God is so beautiful, you know that he is good, you know that he is great, you know that he loves, you know that he is everything you’ve heard and more; therefore, he is worthy of praise. God is worth more than our paychecks. God is so powerful, that he can warp time and space. We as humans, are limited to time and space: God is not. We humans are limited by our weakness: God has no weaknesses. If there is anything good that comes out of this blog, it is because of God and not me.
