Love does not come in all shapes and forms. True love comes from God and is defined in one way. True love is kind, does not envy, and does not boast. True love is patient, true love trusts, true love is not lustful. That is what true love is. Today we will go over how the bible describes true love and what are some practical applications to true love.

True love is Kind

True love does not harm one another. True love looks to build each other up in every way possible. I know I have heard some places where people say its “tough love”; however, tough love only exists between parent and child and God and person.

As a parent, you should discipline your child because if you don’t, then that child could grow up to become someone bad.

As children of God, we know that the consequences of our sins are punishments, and since we sin all the time we should expect punishments every so often.

But a husband should love his spouse at all times. He should be kind at all times. Never are you supposed to hurt her in any way. same goes for the wife. A Wife should listen to her husband. This is in the bible

All in all, if you ever read a law in the bible and it doesn’t make sense to you, then you should know that Jesus taught a lesson about the law. He said to Love God and love thy neighbor as thyself, for all of the laws and the prophet’s hang on these two laws. So likewise, you should love people with a Godly love. Always keep God in mind.
