My favorite Christian Album

I have heard a ton of Christian albums in my lifetime, and I can honestly say that I have had several which I could’ve considered my favorite. Times cause these emotions to change; however, there are a few albums that come to mind when talking about Christian albums and which one is my favorite. So, let me tell you what my favorite is

Open the Eyes of My Heart: Volume 1

            I have heard Open the Eyes of My Heart both volumes 1 and 2 and they are both amazing. The first volume though is what I call the best album that there can be. It is scripturally sound doctrine powered with great instrumentals that you just can’t find anywhere else. Boasting artists such as Sonic flood, Philip Craig and Dean, and Nicole C. Mullen, this album explains the life of a Christian starting with what almost every church sings in their services: Open the Eyes of my Heart. I have heard both the Spanish version and the English version and I can honestly say that the English version takes me back to my Spanish church days.

            This album introduced my family to English Christian rock and we absolutely loved it. We knew how to sing some of the songs in Spanish because those songs had been translated in Spanish. So, while the stereo was playing it in English, we would be singing it in Spanish and we would blast the cars system so loud that everyone from here to China could hear us playing.

            This album was essential to the development of my spirit because during difficult times, I would listen to this album and it would just lift up my spirits. Not only that, but I was also worshipping God with what God had given me, music.
