Advice i would give to a beginning Christian

The world is full of doubt, hate, self-righteous people, evil, etc. etc. I remember when I first started to be Christian, I wanted so bad to reap the rewards of being a long time Christian. However, I know now that all of the blessings that one sees in life are due to a long process of work, prayer, church, God, and sacrifice. So, what are some things that you should know as a Christian who is new to the faith?

Hold on to God

            Before you were Christian, Satan was doing his best to try and get you away from God. Satan was doing everything in his power to make sure that you wouldn’t go to Jesus, believe in him, and have Jesus save you from Hell. Now you’re Christian and Satan wants to keep you from growing in the faith of God. Satan knows that God is unbeatable, so he goes after God’s love, the world. The world in this sense means the people of this world. God loves everybody. Whether you’re tall, small, white, black, skinny, fat, talented, dumb, or sin unthinkable sins, God loves you. You should also know that since God loves you that much, he has a plan to save people. If you are new to the faith, then hold on to God and don’t let go. Times are going to get hard, trust me they will. However, you cannot let your sin nature or Satan prevent you from becoming a more developed Christian because God is the one who provides and God is the one who protects. God is the one who sets people free and God is the one who loves us.

Pray consistently

            I have seen that prayer works. Prayer works tremendously in our lives and we should pray all the time. We must be devoted to our prayer life because that is our manner of communicating with God. Prayer is the way that we ask God to provide or to teach us a lesson. Prayer guides us. The bible says that we’re so lost that we don’t even know how to pray. How sad is that? I have prayed to God for a lot of things and I know that he will complete every one of them. I know so because God is powerful, God is loving, God hears my voice, and God is real.
