What does the bible say about sin

The bible talks a lot about the wrong things that we do in life. It specifically states that we basically don’t know the difference between right and wrong and God has to instruct us how to act. In all honesty, this is the truth. In our eyes, thievery can be good; in our eyes, atheism can be good; in our eyes, a lustful and dishonest personality is good. We must come to the conclusion as Christians that these things are NOT good. God forbids a lot of things, however, when we accept Jesus into our lives, those things are no longer bounding us to the chain of sin and we are set free. Let’s talk about the different things that God has said about sin

Our sin can no longer condemn us if we believe in Jesus

            Let’s read John 3:16-19

                        “For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned but he who does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only son. This is the verdict, light has come into the world but people loved darkness rather than light because their deeds were evil.”

            So, it says that we are no longer condemned if we believed in Jesus. Another verse in the bible says that God will take care of us. Jesus was preaching to the apostles and he said, “look at the birds in the sky, they neither reap nor sow and yet your father feeds them. How much more precious are you to them? What I am trying to say here is this, God loves us, he takes care of us, and loves us to death. He loves us more than the birds that are in the sky and sent his song to die a cruel death. That means that God will do his best, which is the best that anyone can do, to get us to see that we need him. God knows how badly we need him, and we can rest assured that whenever we pray, God will hear our cry. God answers us in many ways, so look out for his answers.
