God makes a lot of promises for us in the bible. He promises to provide for us, take care of us, protect us, love us, and be merciful towards us. As humans, we must come to the conclusion that God is right and we are wrong. God is always right, even though we may think that we may need something different, God knows exactly what to give us. Today let’s talk about some of the things that God does for us.
He provides for us
All throughout my life, God has always provided for me. He has provided food, shelter, computers, guitars, clothes, money, education, jobs, skills, and the list goes on and on. I am %100 sure that everything that I am came from God because it is all good. My guitar skills are good, my computer skills are good, my work skills are good, God has to be the one providing because God’s promises are not empty. God’s promises and gifts are fulfilling and that is exactly what God gives me on a daily basis.
He protects us
I have heard many stories of times when God protected people. However, God protects us by instructing us which way to go. The most powerful way to protect yourself is by adhering to the word of God. God for instance tells us that we are to walk away from unholy and violent things because they will ultimately lead to our own demise. God also says to walk the paths of peace because God knows that peace is the correct way to go.
God loves us
God sent his son to die for our sins. That means that God loves us on a whole other level. Am I wrong? Let me ask you something, which one of you would send their son to die on a cross for a bunch of sinners who wouldn’t even appreciate his death? No one would! That kind of love is so Holy that it should only be reserved for God and God did it.
God promises to be merciful to us
God knows that we are sinners and deserve a hard and painful death. However, God is so loving towards us that he found a way for us to be redeemed. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son! That’s what the bible says. There is absolutely nothing wrong with wanting forgiveness for the bad things that you’ve done in life. God promises to forgive every single bad thing that we ever did to anyone, anything, or even ourselves. I don’t care if you’ve killed people (I’m not saying that is correct) God would forgive you. God would always forgive you because to God, you are worth forgiving.
All in all God promises so much to us. He is so good to us that we need to worship him like that God that he is. I hope that I have shown you guys a good step in the right direction.
