We need to pray more consistently and constantly. That is the bottom line. There is no one on this earth who would regret to pray more. The people who regret the things in their lives, are the people who don’t pray. However, what do we say on a daily basis to God? How can we develop our prayers and create a prayer life that is strong and consistent. How can we not say vain repetitions? Today let’s talk about how we can pray on a daily basis and create a strong foundation in our relationship with God.
Write down what you’re going to pray about.
I have learned that writing down what I’m going to pray, really helps me in developing my prayers. It also allows me to really think about what I’m going to say to God before I say it. I don’t want my prayer life to be something that is easily tipped over. I want my prayer life to be a reflection of a good Godly relationship.
I remember when I first started to write down my prayers, I spent hours praying to God about each and everything in my life. I prayed about my job, I prayed about my life, I prayed about the direction that God wanted me to go, and a whole plethora of other topics that I wanted to pray about. I prayed about this blog, so I have confidence in God that this blog will one day grow, or at least be something that God is watching over.
Go throughout your day and write down the things that you’re supposed to pray about
When you’re constantly thinking about the things that you want to pray about, you will find that there are a whole lot of things that need to be prayed about. I have a friend and something happened to him, and I realized that I haven’t prayed for him. I need to pray for him because he needs help and guidance throughout his difficulties. I pray that God would heal his spirit. I was also going about my day and I found that I had hurt one of my friend’s feelings. I hurt him and I wanted God to heal our relationship. I know that God is the one that fixes things so I did my part and apologized to him and then I went and prayed to God to fix the relationship. I’m not sure if the order in which I did that was correct but I knew that God had to be the one to intervene in our lives in order for our relationship to get better.
Well guys that’s it for this blog post. I encourage each and every one of you to start writing down your prayers before you pray for them. It will develop your prayer life. It will make your prayers more strong. Above all, it will grow your relationship with God. Start praying with worship, then thank God for everything that he’s done in your life, afterwards pray for God’s intervention in our lives in whatever we do, and then close with whatever last things you need to tell God. God will listen and God will show you the right way in life. Do not fear for God is here. Thank you all for listening, stay humble, read your bible, pray, go to church, and above all love God.
