My one true calling

Knowing your true calling in life is a humbling thought. Knowing that God has something truly amazing planned out for you is comforting. God promises to always provide for us because God loves us that much so we should not fear about when or where we will get our next meal and or what is our next step because God will be guiding our steps. Today I will share with you all what is my one true calling in life.

Music

            I know now that I have been called to be a musician for God. I am called to be a Christian musician. I am called to be a Christian singer. I know this because God has blessed me time and time again with skills and equipment and knowledge and wisdom pertaining to music. Not only that, but I have been praying about serving God with music ever since I started playing the guitar which was when I was 11 years old. I started praying and praying and finally God has given me the chance to really shine with music. I only need a few things to really get my music out there. When I say that God has given me the chance to shine with music, I don’t mean that I’ve been signed to a record label or a manager or lawyer discovered me. What I do mean is that God has been on my mind all these months and now I have the best opportunity to shine for God. I want God to come first in my life. I want God to be glorified and not me. I want to Glorify God with everything that I am and what I am is music. I don’t know how God is going to help me, but he will help me with this path that I’m taking.

            There are so many challenges that face a Christian musician, however, why should I fear if God has my back. This is a good work, I know this is a good work. This path that I’m choosing isn’t very lucrative or most attracting, to the human eye. But it is so beautiful to be able to use my talent to bless the ears of God. I hope that God will enjoy the songs that I have and will write for him.

            Well guys that’s it for this one. I really do know that God has called me to be a musician. I have prayed about it, I have chased after it, I have gone through the steps that it takes to become a Christian musician. And now, it’s God’s turn to shine with my music.
