What does writing for God mean? Does it mean that we get to say whatever is on our minds? Or does it mean that we are to educate, inspire, change the lives of people, and more so spread the news of Jesus Christ to the whole world? Writing for God so far for me, has not had any challenging situations. I think of something that I think would be cool to talk about on this blog and then I write about it. I try and sound as professional as possible and at the same time giving my own point of view and not necessarily the point of view of my church or anything. So, without further ado, here is my take on writing for God.
Writing for God has become an essential thing in my life
I have written every day on this blog for a little over two months and now it is starting to help me to get out some emotions that I have for the Lord and also what I want to say to the world. Often times in the world, you can’t say everything that you need to say about God, so I use this blog as a way to say the things that I want to say. I, of course, don’t say absolutely everything, but I do say what is needed to be heard. If I ever were to grow in this blog, I will find the right words to tackle on difficult situations with people but for right now, this blog will help me to develop my relationship with God first, and then spread the message of Jesus second, and at the last, would be to give me some emotional support.
Writing for God is fun
I think it’s cool writing and using my abilities to write for the most high God. In my life, I always wanted to use my talents to glorify God and now I have the chance to do so. Also, this is a good way to practice my faith in God. If I start now in trusting in God that he will provide, well in the future I will be more secure in trusting in him in the holy things that he has for me. I think that doing so, is fun. It is fun putting all of your faith in God because now you don’t have to worry about the bills or where your next meal will come from or even if you will be alive till next year. That is so much fun because it’s like not worrying over every single detail. I don’t have to worry about every single detail now and God is the one who is helping me to overcome my obstacles.
I’m not going to say that writing for God has tis challenges but….
So, for right now, I haven’t had any challenges writing for God. I have kept my commitment to write for him and his glory for all these days, however, I’m not going to say that it’s easy for everyone as well. God has just given me this inspiration and word choice for all these blog posts that now, it’s just like clockwork for me. However, not every great blogger will have the same sort of word choice and usage as me, so, it’s important to note that not everyone can make a blog post every day.
Writing for God can be rewarding
I have started to develop a following on this blog and now I see the light at the end of the tunnel. Even though as of right now I only have 14 followers, even though right now I have written for a short amount of time, even though I haven’t made a single dollar off of my blog, I have seen some sort of hope after all of my hard work. God is definitely helping me in writing this blog and I have to thank him for doing so.
Last bit of advice to future Christian bloggers
Blogging for God is a good thing. Therefore, we need God to help us to do this good thing. I honestly don’t have the type of commitment that it takes to do what I’m doing right now, and God has given it to me. But, I’ll be honest, I prayed to God to help me with this blog right from the start. So, in itself, this is a testimony because God has given me the commitment to stick with blogging. He has blessed me tremendously and now I just want to write for him. So, pray to him to help you write your Christian blog, pray to him for anything and he will help you. Read your bible because you will gain inspiration from your bible, go to church because they will instruct you on what to write, and above all, seek God in everything that you do.
