I learned today that people are going to fail you. No matter who it is, people can fail you. It could be your teacher, your friends, your family, it could be your pastor, anyone can fail you. The only one who won’t fail you is God. So, you can trust in God that God will be the one guiding your footsteps. I have learned that the one who has stayed true to his word throughout all of these years has been God. God has stayed the same all throughout my life. His word stays the same, his spirit stays the same, his own self-being stays the same. If God were to change, then he would have to change according to whatever everyone would want and that in and of itself would create chaos. Let’s talk about why it’s not good to rely on people

People change

When people change their minds and morals about certain things, you might feel a little disappointed or let down. You might go into a depression, but to be honest with you, it’s kind of expected that people change their minds about things. However, you should not change your mind about the things of God. If God says to not lie, then you shouldn’t lie. If God says not to do drugs, then you shouldn’t do drugs. Either way, we all grow up and we all go through changes so, we have to go through these changes without affecting our Christianity. I’ll give you an example, Today I saw something that I didn’t like about my friends, it hurt me to see that my friends were doing something that I didn’t agree with. So, I just left their side and went somewhere else while they did their thing and I kept to myself. I immediately felt like saying to them that I never want to hang out with them again because what they were doing could have gotten me hurt or worse. Anyways, my point is that I stayed to my Christian self but to be honest with you, I shouldn’t have gone and hung out with them in the first place because I know what kind of crowd they are. I know that they are the type of people to do wrong and so yeah. I’m not saying that my friends are a bad bunch, but what they did is not alright with me. I won’t hang out with them anymore because of this whole situation but I hope that they understand my situation and decision. I love my friends but I have to be me too and who I am is Christian.
