Things I do to glorify God

When it comes to glorifying God, we should aim to glorify him with everything that we are. We need to glorify him with all of our strength, wisdom, intelligence, and talents. Glorify God is an opportunity to show just how much you love him. Whether it be through using your literal strength or maybe you’re a musician. How about if you are extremely smart and decide to become an apologetic? These are all great things that you can do with what God has given you. I have a preacher and he’s really honest with me and he said to me that I need to use music to glorify God because I am that good with music. God has given me the talent for music and now it’s time for me to give it back to him. Anyways, let’s talk about how I glorify God, shall we?

I write songs for him

            I am a songwriter. I play the guitar, sing, play the piano and bass. I also know how to use a DAW which is a type of software and hardware to use with your laptop to create music. I also have reserved these things solely for God because he is worthy of praise. I have decided and made up my mind that I will only sing and use songs to worship God. Not to express my emotions or sing to anyone else, but rather, I will sing only to God and God alone.

I thank God with what he does in my life

            God has done so much for me. Now, it’s like I have this big urge to just shout his name on the mountaintops and just say to everyone what God has done for me. God made me a musician! How much cooler can God be? He knew what I wanted to do in life, he knew what I wanted to be, he knew that music was what my heart wanted to sing, and now I thank God for the fact that he made me a musician because being a musician, rocks!

I attend church

            Going to church has become something that shows people just how committed you are to God. If you are committed to going to church, then God will show more evidently in your life. There are three lives that we should all have intact: our church life, our prayer life, and our life with God. Those three things need to be strong or else we will just not make it.

I write about God

            When I write about God, in a way I write about my relationship with him. I write that you need God, you need Jesus, you need the power of the Holy Spirit convicting and changing your life for the better every day. I also write the grand things that God has done for me. I proclaim just how great he is. I say that every human needs God because he does work through prayer, church, reading of his word and more. God is good, never forget that.
