Marriage and God

Lord help me in my marriage. If there is anything that I want success in, it’s got to be my marriage. Lord you know that I don’t ever wish to fight or hurt my wife, you know that my goal is to be a good husband and father, you know that it would kill me if I ever divorced my wife and separated from my kids. Lord I need your help for this task because honestly God, I’m full of corruption and sin and bad things and I need your help to do this good deed. Please Lord help me to be a loving husband and a loving father. Help me to correct my kids when it’s needed. Help me to love my kids above all else. Help me to protect my family with courage and bravery. Help me Lord to be a good provider. Help my kids to love you Lord above all else. Help the rest of my family know that you are a good father. Lord I want my family to serve you. I see that you are the good source in this life. I see that loving you is enmity towards the world and I want to love you. I never want to abandon you. I don’t want my family to ever abandon you. I want my family to serve you with vigor and intensity in their hearts. Lord help my family to do this. Lord help me to be faithful towards you. Help me to be faithful towards my wife. Lord take away all sin from me. I want you Lord, I want you. There is nothing in this world that I want more than you Lord. Lord guide me towards people who love you too. Guide me Lord towards a life that pleases you. Lord help me to just be Holy. Lord may the Holy Spirit convict my heart year after year, day after day. Lord may my life please you at all times. I don’t ever want to stray from pleasing you Lord. Lord may my mouth sing praises to you every single day. Lord help me to attend church every Sunday. Lord help me to be a light in this world. Lord may my marriage sing your praises on a daily basis. Lord may my wife be a wife that loves you more than she loves me. Lord may my kids love you with all their hearts. Amen.
