Anger, can’t live with it, can’t live without it. Anger is an emotion, that often times is a result of an untrained spirit. Anger can be used for good, however, it must be used in a Godly manner, otherwise it’s just useless. Let’s go over a few tips and tricks on anger and why this would be important for Christianity.
A man that is easily angered is not good
Just like what the title says, a man that is easily angered is not good. As Christians, it’s not good to be angered easily because that’s not what God wants. As Christians, we should behave in a Godly manner, and how does God behave? He is patient, he is slow to anger, he is always kind even to the people who hurt his children. God does not say to be weak too. God, will be the one to take vengeance, so don’t fret about that. Vengeance is the Lord’s, have faith in that. Because God is holy, God is righteous, God takes care of business.
Righteous Wrath
Wrath can be good if only used for one purpose. If your family is being attacked, then you have every right to defend against it. You need to defend against the attack because that is something alright for a person to do. God even says it’s okay for a man to receive holy wrath in the case that anyone ever attacks the family.
But for the most part
But for the most part, wrath is not good. Having anger all the time and then unleashing it into the world is not something that God would want. God wants us to be happy. He sent his son so that we may receive happiness. Why would we be angry all the time if we are happy? It just doesn’t make sense. God wants us to make a happy noise, not an angry noise. God wants us to be full of love and hope and tears of joy. Not anger or war or frustration or even sadness. God wants us to live a happy life, and yes there will be times in the road where you will get angry. There will be times in life where sadness will seep in. There will be times in life where your spirit will be tested, however, you cannot let that determine how you are going to respond. If someone does you wrong, then pray to God about it because vengeance is the Lord’s. Always be mindful of the fact that we commit sin too. Every human commits sin against other people as well, so always be mindful of that too. Love your neighbor as yourself, is that not what the bible commands? Likewise, Jesus wants us to love, so love. Force yourself to love, and if you can’t love, ask God to help you because loving people is so much more beneficial than hating people.
Anyways that’s my take on anger. All in all, I think that if you’re not dying because someone is hurting your family, you have no right to be angry. I mean if your child has done something wrong, it’s okay to be angry because that is something holy that is going on too. You are trying to instruct your child into doing something correct. But otherwise, you shouldn’t be getting angry. Thank you guys so much for reading this blog post, I hope that I have been an encouragement and inspiration to you guys.
