My album so far

So as most of you all know, I am in the midst of creating a Christian album (What other type would I make?) Today I will fill you guys in as to what’s going on with the song. How many songs I have written down, how many songs I have recorded and also a few other subjects pertaining to the album. So, without further ado, let’s talk about my album

I have already made the album

            So, right now I have already created the album, it’s just a matter of putting it through production and recording it and mixing and mastering it. I was originally going to call the album Random Thoughts about God. However, I feel like that is not giving the song justice. I felt like God deserves more than just random thoughts about him because anyone can come up with their own ideas about God and being a Christian isn’t something random, we fight every day to become more holy. We struggled from the beginning to know who God and Christ is, so I don’t think I’m going to call it that.

            I have a better title for the album in mind. Actually I have a few titles circulating my mind right now but I’m not sure just yet as to what I’m going to call the album. More on this subject later on.

            I have written 10 songs already, however, now that I’ve written those ten songs, I want to write more for the album. I want to give my first album my all because if I’m going to work hard at something, then I want to give it my all. Now what I’m thinking for writing the album is 20 songs. I want to write 20 songs for the album. That is my new goal for right now. The album will not have more than 20 songs because well, I feel like that’s overkill if I were to give it more than 20 songs.

Production

            I’m thinking about self-producing the album but I’m not sure yet. I want it to be very professional but I don’t know a lot of factors. There are also a lot of factors that will determine if I can hire someone professional to produce it and mix and master the album.

Singles

            Every time I write a song, I feel like that’s going to be my first single off of the album. I want my first single to ring out, so we’ll see about that. I have a few singles that I think I’m going to release as my first one but I’m not sure just yet.
