So, I actually have a pretty busy schedule that I follow each and every day. But on weekends it slows down drastically and I can focus on some other things. First off, I would not have this schedule if it wasn’t for God. God has blessed me with a schedule that is pure and good. I have gotten rid of the things that I regret doing and God sure enough is responding. Anyways, let’s look at what I do in my life as a Christian musician and how God helps me throughout life.

During the work week

I wake up at 9 and usually I don’t eat breakfast, but I take a shower, brush my teeth, put on some deo, and then head to work. Ever since Corona hit, my hours have been cut. So, I only work for 4 hours a day. However, usually I work 6 or 8 hours a day on a non-corona schedule. Usually work is filled with regular responsibilities that my boss has assigned to us. Occasionally we do other things, but for the most part, it’s office work.

After work, I will go to the gym, usually work out for about an hour. Currently I am benching 205, I am recovering from a big leg injury so I haven’t squatted in a long time or deadlifted. However, I can squat and dead lift now and use my legs but I’m taking it easy. I usually get done with work at around 2 or 2:30 so by the time that I finish, it gets to be around 3:30 or 4 sometimes when I want to work out arms or abs.

After working out, I go back home and write in my blog. I write in this blog because it improves my writing skills, provides an outlet to share my music, acts as a journal, let’s me reflect on life, and eventually; I hope that it will provide a source of income. I have wanted to write in a blog for a very long time, but I never knew how to do it. God has really opened up the doors for me through this blog and I thank him for this blog.

After that, I write my songs. I don’t do it all the time, it’s more like a three times a week type thing. However, when I do, I usually finish a verse and a chorus. Sometimes I get through the whole song but usually it’s just the verse and the chorus that I get through. The reason why it’s like this is because I have other priorities late in the evening and I can’t fully commit to making songs every single day. Sometimes I have to clean my room, dishes, or do laundry. But I hope that one day I can commit to long hours to songwriting.

Anyways, that’s it for this blog post. I hope that I have been an encouragement and inspiration to you guys. Please read your bible, go to church, pray, and love God above all else. Like, comment, share, and subscribe and I will see you all next time. German Gonzalez, signing out!
