My prayers

I have been praying consistently for about a month and a half, and if I’m honest, I will say that God is definitely working in my life. When I pray, I pour my heart out to the Lord. I have learned that this is the best manner of praying to God. So, I am praying with the same intensity as if though it was going to be my last prayer. Therefore, today I will talk about how God is answering my prayers. I will also tell you guys what some of my prayers are, what my hopes are, what my dreams are, and how I can glorify God with all of the things that I do. Let’s begin

What my prayers are

            The first prayer that I want God to do for all of my life is to make me a good man. I want to be a good man, not by the world’s definition of a good man, but by God’s definition of a good man. I have asked God many times to make me a holy person and I believe that God will make me that. The reason why I say that is because I know that God has his own will for people in life. There are certain things that God wants from everyone, but some things that he wants only for a specific person. I say that I believe in that because I believe that if you pray to God to make you a good person, he will make you that. There are some things on this blog post that I don’t know if God would want to do for everyone. Anyways, let’s move on.

            I also want God to develop my prayers. I believe that God will develop my prayers and make them holy because I have now started to ask for it. In reality, I want God to develop my relationship with him. I want to be as close to God as possible because I love him. I know there are some sins in my life that separate me from him, but I am asking God to take those sins away from me because I want to honor him.

            I have also prayed for a wife. I know it sounds a little awkward, but fellas, I highly recommend the Lord of Lords giving you a good wife. I want a wife who loves God as much as I do. I want a wife who works hard, loves, and is virtuous. I want what the bible says a wife should be like.

            There are so many things that I want from God, I can’t name them all. But I trust that the best thing is going to happen to me. Why do I believe that? Because I go to God about it.

My hopes and dreams

            I just want to be a good man. But what does that mean? It means that I seek the holy things.

            I also want my college degrees. I want to worship God with everything that I do and that includes school. I want to worship God with my grades, effort, money, resources, and so on and so on. I want to give God my all. If I ever graduate with my college degrees, I will know that it was because of the Lord, not me.

            I wish to make music for the Lord. I know that I have talent for music, so I wish to give that talent to the Lord. I know that with the music that I write, I can glorify God, not because the music is written well or even the lyrics are good, but because it is what I can give to God.

 Glorifying God with my actions

            Everything that I do, I ask God first to help me. God is not a crutch, but rather, God is my strength. God is my wisdom and intelligence. God is the reason why I am who I am. I don’t aim to take credit for the things that I do, but rather, I wish to glorify God for making me those things.
