Something holy God has given

So, just recently the Lord has placed in my heart to start a prayer journal. I started this journal about a week and a few days ago and I couldn’t be more satisfied. However, the prayer journal has shifted and now it is a spiritual journal. I write all of the things spiritual that occur in my life into that journal. I have written a few songs, I have made commentaries and of course I have prayed in that journal. So, some of the things that are in that journal are very personal, but I will share with you guys some of the things that I write about. Anyways, let’s talk about this holy thing that God has placed in my heart.

Songs

            The lord has placed in my heart to write songs for him. Of course in a spiritual journal I will write the lyrics and chords that go along with the song that I am writing, but it delves a little deeper than that. I haven’t done this yet, but I plan on making this spiritual journal have everything song related that I can think of. It’s going to have chords, notes, harmonies, lyrics, themes, songs, hymns, and of course a prayer to match these things. I plan on writing in pencil and in pen because I like pen but I know that pencil is the absolute must for every musician. Writing things down on paper just makes it a little more permanent.

Prayers

            I have chosen to make my prayers a top priority in my spiritual journal, so I have decided to pray first, and then go into whatever I need to go into. Like today, I prayed first so that God may help me with my struggles in life. I gave thanks to God for an awesome day that I just had, as well as a few other things that I’m not going to mention. One of the things that I have prayed for from God is to develop my prayers. I wish to have holy prayers because that is something that God would want.

Bible studies

            Right now my church is having bible studies every month. The preacher selects a bible book and we read that book for the month. So, I have decided to write down everything that I learn and any questions that I may have.

            Anyways, this is something holy that the Lord has placed in my heart. I couldn’t be more grateful for the things that the Lord is guiding me to do.
