God has helped me

So, today I had kind of a challenging day. Today I was sleep deprived, mad, and constantly getting annoyed by my sister. However, I did not let it get to me because of one reason and that reason is God. I kept my head held up high because I kept reminding myself of all the promises that God has said to me. All of the promises that are written in the bible and all of the promises that I have been assured of in church have really spoken to me. Anyways let me share with you some of the promises that God has said to us.

God has promised to be there

            Whenever we get hurt by someone else, God is there. Whenever we are ignored, God is there. Whenever injustice occurs, God is there. I know that this is a hard lesson to swallow, but we can let the Lord be the one to take control of our lives whenever something bad happens. We must let the Lord take vengeance because ultimately, his vengeance is the best vengeance. The Lord understands us, and no innocent blood will go unheard by the Lord.

            Also, God has promised to be our father. What does being a father mean? A father is someone who you can go to for help. A father looks out for you. A father protects you. A father provides. A father loves you unto death. God is all of that and more! God is the ultimate father because he works in our lives always trying to guide us to the truth. God is always working to make us wiser, smarter, and stronger. These are some of the things that God promises to do to us.

God has promised to listen

            God has promised that he will be listening to us always. He will listen to us because he loves us. Simply put, the Lord loves us so much that he is willing to listen to each and every one of our requests and either decide that it is something good in our lives or not.

            God in reality has promised us so much more, from providing a wife, to providing a job, God has promised to do so much for us and I couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you all for listening in on this blog post. I’ll be honest with you guys, I didn’t go into too much detail today because I had a really rough day and I need some by myself time, but I pray that you guys may read your bible, go to church, pray, and love God above all else.
