4 ways to spread the word of God

When you give the battle over to God that is when you will find victory in your struggles. Spreading your faith is no different than the other battle that you had last week. Jesus said it best when he said that He is the vine and we are the branches for without him we cannot do anything. When Jesus said we can’t do anything, he meant everything. But for the sake of this blog post let’s talk about spreading our faith through Jesus Christ. We need to be close to him in order to spread our faith, but just in case you’re wondering, here are 10 ways to spread your faith.

Live your life for Jesus

            This is the first and foremost way to spread your faith. The reason why I say that is because if we don’t walk the walk, how are we supposed to talk the talk? If we preach about saying the truth at all times, shouldn’t we also say the truth at all times?

            I often times have heard people telling me that it is important to lead by example. My boss’s have told me, preachers, marines, and also parents. So, we must honor those people by doing what they have told us to do.

            I have been asked a few times what church do I go to or what denomination of Christianity am I just because of the way that I act. I don’t say anything special, but rather, I just act my normal Christian self and I hope that it will gain the attention of the people around me.

            I have also been asked what is my religion just by the words that I say. I proudly say Christianity because, well, it’s what I am!

Write for Jesus

            I know that there are a lot of people out there who are reading this blog and saying, well I can’t really write that well. If you apply yourself to writing, you will become a good writer, so don’t give up on the fact that you could write for God.

Here are a few ways that you can write for God

• Blog about God
• Write in Scholarly articles for God
• Write in your own Journal for God
• Write Songs for God
• Write for God

Blogging for God has been such a blessing to me. I love everything about it. From spreading my message to the world, to sharing my desire to spread God’s word, I get to do so much in blogging and it is so much fun!

• I have never written in a scholarly article before, but there has to be scholarly articles for God because God himself has his own intellects. People that are there always proclaiming him to the world.
• Write in your own Journal for God. Who knows maybe one day your journal will be read by millions of people searching for the answer to their own problems. Start a spiritual journal and just keep at it
• Write songs for God: when you write your songs for God, you are showing the world that God has musicians as well. You are showing the world that even though you could make millions of dollars being a rockstar, you prefer to serve God above all else
• Lastly just write for God. Some people say that authors or writers never get paid. However, if you trust in the Lord with all of your heart, then God ill be the one paying your bills and guiding you to do the right thing all the time. You must be grabbed on to God tightly so, don’t forget to submit yourselves to the word of God and pray and go to church!

Participate in church reach out activities

            I don’t know about you guys, but my church has activities where we try and reach out to the community. We either pass out tracks, participate in the local community, or host events that would allow us to share the gospel with people.

            When you participate in these events, this is your chance to represent your church, while also, showing your attitude towards God and people.

            I have done these church reach out activities before and I must say that people like it when they see a young dude rolling up to their house and inviting them to church. At least that was my experience.

Start a YouTube Channel about God

            You don’t need to be a preacher to spread the word of God. I am not a preacher and I spread the word of God through this blog. Eventually, I would like to start my own YouTube channel so that way, I have another way of reaching out to people.

            Similar to writing for God, except this time, you are making videos for him. Share what you need to say to the world by starting a YouTube channel. Let the world know who is your God. And stick to it!

Remember one thing when trying to spread the word of God

            We cannot do anything without Jesus. We cannot have victory over our battles nor can we spread the word of God without him. If we want to successfully spread the word of God to the world, then we must get close to him.

            In John chapter 15, Jesus clearly states that he is the vine, we are the branches, and God is the husbandman of the vineyard. If we were to separate ourselves from the Lord, it’s like a branch that has been cut off from it’s root and is good for nothing.

Conclusion

            I think that there are a lot of ways that you can spread your faith that is holy. It’s important to note that there are time and places to spread the word of God and not every time and place is a good time and place to start talking about the word of God. I know that some of you may have a fire going on inside of you that wants to talk about God, but Jesus also said to not cast your pearls before swine.

            What does that mean?

            It means that we cannot simply spread to everyone but rather we must look for the right ways to spread the word of God to the world. I just gave you some ways that you could spread the word of God to the world and I hope that you guys would take this knowledge and take advantage of it.
