Successes

So, just recently, I started to have success in a few of my battles. Ever since I started this blog, I have had success in a few battles. I’m not going to share what some of them are because yet again they are very personal. However, I can share with you a few of them. Here is a list of all of the success that I am currently having.

Success with God

            I am writing emails to my pastor about different topics in my life. I feel like they are developing my relationship with the Lord all too much. I am asking him questions about the bible, I am asking him questions about more personal things, I am also asking him questions about some deeper topics.

            I remember when my pastor gave me his email, I said to him that it would be great if I could keep in contact with him and sure enough, he decided to start responding to my emails. I’m not saying that every pastor does this, but my pastor does and I’m so thankful for it.

            I also remember when I first started to write to my pastor that I didn’t really know what to say to him because I felt like I didn’t want to sound like a sinner all the time. However, I have grown more comfortable with my pastor and I feel like I can confide in him a lot more.

            Emailing my pastor isn’t the only success that I’ve had with God. I also have started a prayer/spiritual journal. My aim of the journal was to develop my prayers. I aimed to write in that journal every day, however I could not. So, now I write whenever I can.

            My spiritual journal is developing my prayers, writing skills, songwriting skills, and the way that I express myself. I am so thankful that God gave me this journal. It is such a blessing.

            Also, my songwriting skills are developing a lot too. I noticed that I actually liked some of the songs that I have been writing recently. In all reality to me it’s all about developing your hooks. Rhythmic, melodic, and lyrical hooks.

            Also, I could not have been blessed more than to have a sister who knows a lot about singing and she is helping me develop my voice. I am learning more about tone production and I aim to use this knowledge, this wisdom for the Lord. I do not aim to use my voice in vain purposes.

            The last success that I’ve had with the Lord as of recently is that I have started to read the bible again. I read the bible but I read it actually looking at it for answers. I used to read it without focus in mind. However, I started to read it because my pastor wants the entire congregation to read a book a month in the church. Thank you God.

In reality, I have had a few more successes, all relating to God, like I have had success with this blog, I have been writing in this blog for nearly 6 consecutive months. That is experience that is so precious. I also have been writing in my company’s blog for a few months and I think that it is coming along nicely. Thank you God for this.
