The Lord blessed this day

So, today was such a good day. It was very eventful. Even though I didn’t do anything too exciting, I still got to hang around with my family and have a blast. Anyways, it’s times like these where I say that the Lord is definitely good. I currently don’t have a lot of money, but that doesn’t mean that I can’t have a lot of fun with what I do have! Anyways, let me share with you all how the Lord has blessed today

It all started off great

            So, I woke up in the early morning, roughly 8 am, and I went to go and help my dad move some furniture around. First we went on an hour long trip north so we can drop off my mom at her job, then we headed south for like 15 minutes to get a van that we needed, and then we headed to another far away city in order to get some furniture.

            The furniture that we were getting was going to belong to us. The couch we had upstairs was all torn apart by our cat and my dad’s boss was giving away her couch. It’s so nice, nice and comfortable, just what we needed in our house.

            We also got some other chairs too and some other granddaddy chairs too. It’s so cool. Thank you so much Dad’s boss!

            I counted this whole activity as a blessing because it gave me a chance to show my strength. I love it whenever I get to show my strength because…. It shows I’m strong! Haha. Not only that but it also made me feel special. Sometimes I feel like a good for nothing, but then my dad asks me to help him with moving around heavy stuff and it just feels good being able to help out my dad do the things that he needs me to do. That was a blessing from God

            Before all of that, we had breakfast over at McDonalds. My dad treated me to some McDonalds and I hadn’t had McDonalds in years so it was kind of refreshing eating some hotcakes, or not refreshing, well I thought it was refreshing because it tasted good.

            After we moved the first set of furniture into our house, we went back nearly another hour again so that way we could get another set of furniture from the same boss. We got that, headed back home and honestly by this time it was 3 and we hadn’t eaten lunch so we were HUNGRY. My dad ordered pizza for my sister and I.

            Afterwards I feel asleep because honestly waking up early in the morning to go all around the DMV is pretty tiring, but I got through it. And afterwards, I practiced the songs that I wrote that sound really good. That was basically my day today.

            This day was such a blessing from God, I felt like God was providing all the time. God was the one who was giving me things all day long, he was giving and giving and I couldn’t have been more grateful. Thank you God for everything.
