My music career (Or at least what it is so far)

Haha, I know that I haven’t yet started my music career but in a sense I have. I have started to write music, I have started to learn how to song write and I have done the work that is needed in order to pass as a good musician. Now all is needed is practice. Practice at honing in on my craft and creating great hooks and memorable music for the Lord. I promised myself that I would use my talents for the Lord when I got the guitar. When I got the guitar I promised and I prayed to God that I would use my talents for him because he is the one who I truly love. Anyways, let me share with you all what’s going on in my music career so far, shall I?

My blog is starting to gain traction

            Just the other day, I asked a random friend to search my blog on the internet and sure enough he said that he found it! Yay! That must mean that my blog is showing up on the web which of course is good.

            Not only that, but it’s almost the end of the month and I have 109 views this month. It wouldn’t surprise me that if in another few days I pass 120 views for the month. This is the first month where my blog has had this type of traffic. All of the other months, my blog has had between 3 and 33 views in a month.

            Also, my blog is gaining traffic from different sources. The Lord is blessing my hands with my work. He’s showing me grace and I couldn’t be more grateful. Yeah my blog is gaining more traffic from different places, I just recently started gaining likes and followers from the places that it’s been active before but now I’m actually ranking in those places and I guess that’s why I’m gaining that much traffic.

I’m going to try something new

            I’m going to try to gain a twitter following. My twitter account currently has, give or take, 300 followers. I’m going to try and build a following of around 2100 by the end of the year and hopefully with all of the efforts that I do they will be people who comment, like, and share my posts, but who knows? The lord knows that’s who knows!

            Also, if my blog gains any traction then I’m going to try my hand at YouTube. I’m going to link my YouTube channel to my blog and I’ll have traffic flowing from my blog to my YouTube channel. Not only that, but instead of being just a blogger, I’m going to become a Vlogger. I hope to put up between 2 to 3 videos a week, but if I get too busy and I end up putting up 1 video a week, well then that will be it for the channel. So expect more content, more God, and more blog posts about these changes in the upcoming weeks.

            So I might create a YouTube Channel, I am going to get a following on twitter, I guess a podcast is next. However, I’m not going to make a podcast until I have other people on my team. Right now, sad to say, it’s just me doing all the work! But that doesn’t mean that I can’t rock the house! I’m not sure what to talk about on a podcast, as a matter of fact I’m not even sure what a podcast is! Like what kind of material is done in podcasts? What is said? Who can I put in my podcast? These are the questions that haunt me.

            Anyways, that’s it for this blog post. I’m starting to get really excited about my future because it looks bright, but we’ll see what the Lord says.
