Don’t get Discouraged

There may be times in life where we might say, “Lord why is this happening to me?” “I don’t want to keep going.” However, I am here trying to tell you to not get discouraged over what happens. The Lord knows what is good for you and the Lord knows what to give you at the right time. Don’t get discouraged by a slow start, The Lord will guide you. Let me share with you all why I decided to talk about this today.

I have gotten discouraged

            You know it’s funny, because the Lord explicitly states that in order to build any sort of wealth, it takes time. If you want anything good in life, it takes time to achieve the good things in life.

            Say for example me, I’ll be honest, I was expecting with posting up a blog post every day for 6 nearly 7 months straight, I would have gone viral by now. However, that’s not the way that the Lord has described his way of getting wealthy. His way of getting wealthy, or obtaining anything good, is by patience and persistence and hard work. I of course have put in hard work, but I guess that the lord hasn’t seen enough work from me just yet.

            Actually the Lord has blessed this blog with 119 views this past month, I was so excited! The Lord blessed my hands and now I’m starting to reap the benefits, now here is the hard part, I have been working hard for 6 months and now I have to be patient and keep working hard at this blog in order to reap any rewards.

            I of course Think that this blog is a beautiful thing, but the Lord is going to be the one who decides when he will give me more views and visitors. I trust that the Lord will not let me down, for he has never let me down.

That’s not the only thing though

            When I say don’t get discouraged, I also mean be strong in the Lord. Don’t get discouraged by life just because life isn’t treating you fairly.

            Sometimes, I think to myself that I am just another stupid kid who didn’t do his homework and I can’t help but to think to myself, wow how have I failed.

            Then a thought comes into my mind, the Lord knew that I was going to fail at the things that I failed at. The lord has something for me that is greater than all of my dreams, The lord is the one who is worthy to be praised and not me. So, I shouldn’t worry about anything but rather in everything pray.
