Don’t give up on God

So, lately I had a friend who was coming up to me looking for answers. I honestly didn’t know what else to say to him except to look for God. I felt like God had the answers to all of the questions that he was asking. What better answer is God to the questions of your life? Anyways, these conversations with my friend sparked up an interesting point in my heart and life. I started to think to myself and I started to say to myself that We cannot give up on God. Anyways, let me share with you why we can’t give up on God.

God has happiness

            The Lord knows how difficult these times are. The Lord knows how difficult life is and if God so wanted to, he could fix all of the world’s problems right now, I know so. However, that’s not his perfect will, that’s not a part of his perfect plan. Let’s be honest here, we imagine ourselves that life would be so much better if our problems were solved, but let’s be honest, there is only one perfect way and God is the one who is paving that perfect way. If God then so says that the perfect way is that we cry a little bit in our lives, then so be it. It was the perfect way.

            God didn’t leave us alone here without hope and happiness though. God knows just how much we need happiness as humans so he gives us happiness. Happiness in Jesus Christ. Through Jesus Christ we have a happiness that is never ending. Through Jesus Christ we have hope and a light that shines and shines and it will never go down.

            I know it sounds rough, but you have to know that this life will be with pain. I know it’s rough but everyone is going through it. I am going through it, your neighbor is going through it, and I’m pretty sure even the princes of the world are going through pain. Go to God when you are feeling down though because God hears our prayers. God hears our cries, God hears us when we’re all alone in the middle of the night talking to him. He is there.
