What do I believe? What does the bible say? What should you ultimately believe? There are many beliefs out there regarding what God thinks of homosexuality. However, we must face the truth as for what the truth really is. We have to be honest with ourselves and ultimately honest in front of God. I really want to be respectful of everyone’s belief system out there, while also telling the truth, so I will do my best to cover this topic in its entirety. Let’s talk about this sensitive topic shall we?
What do I believe?
I don’t want to hurt anyone. I don’t want to slander the homosexual community out there or insult them in any way. I say this with a kind hearted voice, but I personally do not believe that homosexuality is correct.
Why do I not believe that homosexuality is correct? I don’t believe it’s correct because the bible clearly states what God’s thoughts are on homosexuality. God clearly states in the bible that no man is to lay with another man as if with a woman and no woman is to lay with another woman as if with a man, that’s Leviticus. Leviticus in the bible is literally translated to law. What happens is that God gave the Israelites laws to follow in order for them to live with God in peace, so God gave them these laws and he states that no man is to lay with another man as if with a woman… The law states that if a man were to do so, then that man would be put to death.
I say all of that with a genuine and sensitive voice, now let’s flash forward to today and what Jesus did for us. Not one of the Israelites could listen to absolutely everything that the law stated, This is why Jesus came into our lives. Jesus came so that way we could live with God and have our sins covered for all of our lives and for the rest of eternity.
Homosexuality is a sin and people should steer clear away from doing such things. God does not approve of Homosexuality, but there is hope. The hope for all homosexuals is that you can still go to heaven if you accept Jesus into your life. If you just believe in Jesus, then God will be the one to make sure that you enter into heaven.
It’s no different than if you were to be a liar, because everyone has lied and everyone deserves death, but Jesus came to this earth to save us and now we all can go to heaven.
The Good news
The good news is that now you can enter into heaven! You, all you have to do is believe in Jesus and you will go to heaven. God will take care of the rest of your life. He will be the one in charge of providing for you, giving you a husband or wife, he will give you kids, a job, an education, he will also give you things that you can’t buy with money, like peace and happiness.
I don’t care what you’ve done in life, you can go to heaven. I have been living on this earth for 25 some years and when I say that you can go to heaven no matter what you’ve done, it’s because you can. What have you done that’s so bad? Have you killed someone? Have you stolen? Are you the worst of the worst? Have you been to jail for unforgiveable things? Well if you believe in Jesus, God will accept you into heaven.
What is so wrong with accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and savior? What is so wrong with relying on God to provide? There is nothing wrong with those things.
