Sin is only nature to us. We are bound to mess up or commit sin in our lives no matter what we do. However, God’s standard for our lives is perfection and we must abide by that perfection. Staying away from sin could mean a lot of things to you guys. It could mean that you stay sexually pure, it could mean that you don’t lie, or it could even mean that you quit those bad habits. Whatever your sin is, it would be God’s will for you to get out of it. So, let’s see how we can stay away from sin, shall we?

What does the bible say?

The bible says to get close to God and resist the devil’s temptations because if you resist, then the devil will run away from you. So, you have to get close to God in order for you to stay away from the sin in your life.

I know that it is difficult staying away from sin, but God always said that good things are almost never easy.

There is something in the bible that speaks about  staying sexually pure, it says that it’s okay to find a holy way to control yourself, however, if you cannot control yourself, then marry. God created marriage for us because he knew that we needed it and he wanted the relationship between man and women to be holy.

I know that’s easier said than done because everywhere I turn there’s like a half-naked girl there, but trust me that it’s doable.

Tha same thing can be said about the different sins in our lives. If God is saying to find a holy way to control yourself, then do it. If he is saying that, it is because it is possible and that we can find good and holy ways to control ourselves.

I remember back when I was a kid, I tried to control my language. I was aiming to control my language because I wanted to be known as a Christian not as a worldly member. So, when I found out that cursing is bad, I quit but I set my mind to quit because now I have the Lord helping do whatever it is that I need to do.

Also, if you have sin in your life, go to God and confess it. Confess all of your deepest darkest secrets unto God and say, can you help me with it? For I want to serve you. God will most likely help you in whatever you’re doing.
