What is Christianity

Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit, John, Luke, Matthew, Mark, what are these things? And why are Christians so happy to be … well Christian? Why do people practice Christianity? Why is Christianity so widespread? How come it’s so important to us? What is Christianity? Sit down boys and girls because I’m about to tell you exactly what Christianity is, let’s get started.

Christianity is a religion based on the teachings of Jesus.

            If only it was that simple. Christianity is the belief that if you believe in Jesus, then you will go to heaven. Let me say that again. If you believe in Jesus, you will go to heaven. However, this requires a little more effort from us because it involves doing things that are against our own nature.

            So, this is up to debate for a lot of people but the type of Christianity that I believe, believes that we are all bad. We all have errors and that we are all unworthy of going into heaven. The reason why I believe this is because I think it’s true. Which one of us has ever told a lie to get out of trouble? Which one of us has cheated, stole, cursed, all of us have probably done something like this in our lifetime. Which is the reason why I say that we are all unworthy of going into heaven.

            Now the good news is that we needed a redeemer to get into heaven. That redeemer is Jesus. You see what had to happen was that Jesus needed to die on the cross to take our place in order for God’s will to be done. The sacrifice that Jesus died acted as a sacrifice to God and now that sacrifice was perfect for all of humanity for the rest of the world for ever.

            So now, all we have to do is believe in Jesus and Jesus will redeem us from hell. Jesus is the only path to heaven.

            Along with the belief of Jesus, we believe that God exists and the Holy Spirit exists as well and they are all one too.

            The Holy Spirit is the one that convicts us to do the right thing. It’s our conscience. The Holy Spirit guides us to do what is God’s will. God’s will is perfect and God’s will is going to be done. You should never act against the Holy Spirit because that is not good.

In conclusion

            In conclusion, Christianity Rocks. All you have to do is believe in Jesus and you are automatically going to go to heaven! God provided a way for us and now we are going to heaven.
