I absolutely love Christian music. Christian music is what defines who I am as a person. I am a Christian. I am a musician. I love Christian music. How does it compare with other music, and why is it not as popular as other genres of music? Let’s talk about this for a second.

So we all know that this is the end of times

I hate to break it to you, but the end of times is now. There are multiple bible explanations as to why the end of times is now and really it’s all accurate.

In the Bible, the depiction of the end of times is that basically this world would be really bad. I’m personally not catholic but even the Vatican has stated that we live in times worse than Sodom and Gomorra.

Also, the Bible states that in the end times, children would be disobedient to their parents.

The Bible also states at the end of times, Satan would run rampant.

So all in all, I believe that the end of times is now. There is way more proof than that but I’ll just leave it at that.

If Satan is running rampant, then it makes sense that Gods music would not be the most popular thing on the radio.

Satan doesn’t want God’s word to be spread all over the world, yet that’s exactly what happened.

Why do people not like Christian music

So on top of the fact that most people are not committed to God, there could actually be a whole lot of reasons why people don’t like Christian music.

For one they don’t listen to it. There is a saying in music, if someone doesn’t like your kind of music, it’s because they don’t listen to it. It’s really hard for someone to like a genre of music, when in reality they’ve never heard any of the good stuff.

Another reason would be because of the lyrics. Sometimes the words that Christian musicians use are convicting and people don’t like to be convicted.

The words can convict you to your sins, your own human flesh, or maybe even your necessity to God. Whatever your conviction is, people might not like that.

The last main reason and to be honest with you I think it’s the most prevalent reason, is because when you are not Christian, it’s like Satan has a blindfold over you. You can’t see where you’re going and you just don’t see the things that is needed to be seen. Ultimately our own sin nature blinds us.

So, should you become a Christian musician?

Absolutely! When you are a Christian musician, you are giving praise to God. You will sing songs to him and not mankind, even if you play in concerts.

Do not be scared of not having millions of dollars in the bank. Have faith in God that God will provide and he will. God is a fair God and if you work hard at whatever, you will get money in whatever, that’s in the Bible.

Commit yourself to the Lord and he will make thy paths straight, says the Bible.
