Why do I keep pursuing?

In all honesty, there is about one reason why I keep pushing forward in life. I don’t keep pushing forward for the money, friends, or even family. In reality, the only reason why I keep pushing forward is because of God. God gives me the reason to keep moving on and do what I’m already doing. Let me share with you why this is the case.

God is eternal

            If I choose to go with God, then I know that my life will in turn be eternal. I mean to me, I feel like everything has an end except for God. So, therefore, I will choose to have an end with him by having no end with him.

            My life one day will end and I will take nothing with me except my soul. None of my riches will matter, none of my schooling will matter, nothing that I accomplished in this world will matter except for the things that God has deemed acceptable.

            I don’t mean that because you do a bunch of good things they will in turn follow you to heaven, even though they might. But what I do mean is that if I seek holy things and lay up my treasures in heaven, then those treasures will indeed end up in heaven.

            If I were to not choose God, then my life would end right here on this earth along with all of my riches and good things that I did in life. None of my things would matter because it would all be wasted in death.

            It’s a sad and humbling thought, but it must be said. We are all going to die one day and we need to prepare for it. We need to prepare by establishing holy things on this earth so that way those holy things chase us towards heaven.

The good news

            The good news is that we can all go to heaven! That’s the good news! We all have the ability to go to heaven because God has seen that we are fit for all of us to go to heaven because Jesus died for all of us.

            So, let me ask you a question, what is stopping you from going to heaven? Is it your disbelief in God? Is it the wrong things that you did in life? Well, I’m here to tell you that all of the wrong things that you did in life could never compare to the mercy that God has for you.
