The Lord knows he knows

When I am faced with a situation where everything seems chaotic, I always ask myself something, what does this have to do with God? Does God have a purpose for all of this? And the answer is yes, God certainly has the answer to all of this. I remember back in the day when I was in elementary school, sometimes I would have rough nights, however, I kept asking myself, what does God have for all of this? Sure enough I saw the beauty in what God had in my life every single day. Let’s talk about some of these lessons shall we?

I learned to appreciate everything

            There were some times in my life where I didn’t know where to go because my life was just hard. I didn’t know what was going to happen to me and I had so much stress, doubt, fear, anxiety, hatred, lust, everything in the book. However, my mom just kept telling me the same thing, trust not in yourself, but put all of your faith in God. She always said that but I didn’t know how to put my faith in God because I was that lost.

            Then, one day I just said to myself, alright God I’m going to trust in you today. I am going to trust in you so that way you do all of the hard work. I kept asking myself, “but wait, what would happen if I didn’t get the job or if I don’t do what I need to do or if this happens or that happens” and then I realized why my mom said to not trust in yourself but to put all of your faith in God. The reason why you trust in God is because God has the answers to all of the questions that there are in life.

            I then saw why I needed to appreciate the things that I had in my life. Because one day, God could take away all of the things that I had in my life and he could just give them to someone else, someone who deserves it more than me.

            But even that’s not all. If I put my faith in God, then I won’t have to worry another day of my life because God has the answers to life’s most difficult questions. I trust in that.
