Money isn’t everything! There I said it! Money is absolutely valueless compared to everything else that there is in the world. I mean like what else could you have that money can’t buy? My mom always told me that the most important things in life are free. You can’t buy peace with money. You can’t buy tranquility with money? You can’t buy happiness with money! You can’t buy the important things in life with money. I mean like you can’t get a good girl with money. You can’t get a right attitude with money. There is so much that you can’t do with money.
Now, I’m not saying go out and be a hobo. I’m not saying that money doesn’t have it’s place out there in the real world. It surely does. But what I am saying is that you shouldn’t live your life trying to get every last dollar out of your paycheck. What is going to cost you that last dollar? A whole day of work? On top of the fact that it’s just not worth it, it’s also just not good to obsess over money. It’s not good to obsess over anything. Live your life, get your degrees, be an educated person for sure and go out and start living! I mean like life is too short to care all your life about money.
Why am I saying this? Well I’ll be honest, up until a few seconds ago, I didn’t really get it. I didn’t get the fact that money isn’t that important because even still, God provides for everything. Look at the birds in the sky, they neither reap nor sow and yet God feeds them? How much more does he love us? Oh ye of little faith? God loves us, it’s true he loves us, so remember that the next time that your bills are piling high and you can’t seem to pay them all. Remember that the next time that life spins you around and gives you a 180 because ultimately, God is going to be the one to provide for you.
Seek first the kingdom of god and everything will follow after. I seek the kingdom of God, however, I don’t always do my best in every situation. I thought that my whole life I’ve always seeked God because that is what God wanted me to do. However, life is just hard. I fail all the time. I am sorry to God about the times that I fail, however, I rely on God that God will be there to pick up the slack whenever I am down.
Say for example this blog. I made it my life mission to make this blog into something great. However, because I started college again, I’ve slacked a lot. I don’t want to slack in this blog because it is something good. But I have to put my faith in God that God will do everything to this blog. If anything bad happens, it was because of me. I didn’t do my part.
