When someone is saved, that means that they are now going to heaven. That means that God has now entered into their lives and they have accepted the fact that they are sinners who were wrong and needed to be saved by God.
Cheer up though! When someone is saved, the hole that they have in their heart is filled by God. Actually, God is the only one who can fill up that heart because that heart that doesn’t have anything inside of it was made to worship the Lord.
Don’t get me wrong, God is always working in the lives of people. Whether you have him or not, God is always working in the lives of people.
However, once you are saved, you start a relationship with God that will last your lifetime. A relationship that ultimately God started himself.
Let’s go over salvation a little bit more so that everyone can get a better understanding of what is happening.
Adam and Eve
God created the world and with that, God created Adam and Eve. Husband and wife did God create. However, what happened is that God gave Adam and Eve a rule to not eat of the forbidden tree. If they did eat that tree, then they would surely die. So, Adam and Eve disobeyed and that put a curse on mankind for the rest of mankind on this world. The curse was that from now on, man would have to work all of the days of his life in order to feed himself and the ground would no longer yield fruit.
The woman received a Curse too, saying that her labor was going to be multiplied many times.
After those two curses, God gave the curse that they would die eventually because they are forbidden to live like God himself.
So, God sent them from the Garden of Eden and they started their lives together working.
Here is the beautiful part of God though. God promised to mankind that he would send a redeemer to save mankind from the evils of their ways. He said that, that redeemer would fulfill prophecies and come from the line of a king, be perfect, and be the lamb that was to be slain for mankind.
In this manner, God’s wrath would be satisfied. God himself would accept us back into his kingdom and it was so.
Jesus, the chosen lamb that was slain
Jesus is that lamb. Through prophecies and eyewitness accounts, we know that Jesus is the son of God and he is the perfect lamb that was slain. Through studying of the bible, artifacts that were uncovered, stories that were told and of course the writings of the teachers and scholars, we know that Jesus is the son of God and that God is coming back to the world once again.
But be of cheerful heart! It doesn’t matter what you’ve done in life! Jesus forgives you with everything that he is. Jesus loves, lives, cares, strengthens us and is coming back to earth once again.
The only thing that you need to do is believe in Jesus, Jesus would forgive you.
Be sad for those who don’t believe in Jesus because when the day comes and God is here, there will be no mercy shown to them.
