What is good?

This is actually a serious question that I’m asking everyone who is reading this blog post. What is good? Like what is the literal thing that is good in your life? What is good in the world? I know that this phrase can be used as slang, but I’m seriously asking you, what is good in your life? Is it that new guitar you bought? Is it that college degree? Is it that wife that you have? I’m not trying to say that those things are bad, but I am trying to say is it really what you were looking for? Today, I want to describe to you what is good in my life and I hope that we can grow as a community to learn what the good things in our lives are, let’s get started.

God is good

            God himself has been in my life for a majority of my living. God has been good to me throughout that hard times and the good times. More importantly, God never ceases to astound me because he does things that lead to another and build upon the next in a way that is Holy.

            I can remember all of the sinful things that I’ve done in my life. I remember the way that I used to think and I can honestly say that I did not think in a way that was Holy.

            Now, I know the difference between right and wrong, I choose right almost all of the time, and I see that God truly does have a reason for the things that he does. He has a reason for saying the things that he says and we are not to judge his actions. If we are so perfect, then why don’t we answer life’s most difficult questions ourselves?

            Life’s most difficult questions can be solved through God. Why does life have to be this way? Because God said it has to be. Why do we have to suffer? God said it has to be this way. Why is it that bad things happen to good people, If you ask God, he’ll answer it.

            God is the good thing in my life.
