Though minor things change almost every day, the same concept applies to most of internet marketing.
There are a few ways that you can spread a message. One, you could pay a lot of money to advertise on the internet, sometimes in the millions of dollars is how much you’ll spend. Two, You can create, create, create, and create some more content for people to watch, enjoy, educate, and thrive in.
So obviously I’m speaking to a big majority of you when I say that you probably don’t have a lot of money otherwise you wouldn’t be reading this, so spending millions of dollars is probably not the option that you can take in order to make some money online.
Now I assume that you are the average musician trying to make a name for himself. I must ask though, as a Christian musician, what is your drive to continue to do music?
In this Christian music game, it gets really hard sometimes and you can’t let those bad times get in between you, your mission, your God, and your music.
What I’m about to share with you has been proven to work. It’s not a guarantee that it will work, but it works.
Like with anything, if you want to make money out of it, then you have to work hard and work hard like never before.
With that said, here are some basics of Social media for the budding Christian musician.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a blog or a YouTube channel…

It doesn’t matter if it’s a blog or a YouTube Channel, the concept is still the same.
Here is the concept: Literally, all you have to do is put up good content, that’s literally all you have to do, and google and the blog websites will rank you higher on their platforms. This way, the more you put content up, the more higher you rank and the more views you get, the more views you get, the more sales in music or t-shirts or whatever it is that you’re trying to promote will happen.
Literally all you have to do is to put up content and you will get traffic.
Now, there is a big disclaimer here. I am by no means guaranteeing that you will get traffic, but what happens is that I have done this before and I worked hard at it, I am working hard at it now! It has worked for me, so trust me it can work for you as well. Just work hard at it by putting up a lot of blog posts and you’ll sure enough get something out of it.
Here’s another big disclaimer: It takes a long time for google or the websites to rank you high enough to get any sort of traffic. I know it takes time, it’s taken me nearly a year and I’m starting to get traffic to this site that is considerable. However, the benefits are worth the wait.
Imagine having the freedom to wake up one day, turn on your computer, write for an hour, and then going about your regular business. That’s literally the blogging life. You’re getting so many views that your bank is just so proud to have you bank with them.
Sometimes it’s good to have a local following as well, check out this article that I wrote about how to build a local following
How to build a Christian following on the internet right here.
Start with friends and work your way up
Everyone has small beginnings. Your first album is not going to be the best, so don’t be so hard on yourself. Your second album is going to rock. Your debut album is going to be nothing but bangers!
However, no one started with a record deal as soon as they were born, it’s just not possible.
I know it can be a little embarrassing showing your friends what your songs are, but it’s definitely worth the risk because if it’s good enough, they’ll be listening to it all the time. They’ll be your number one fans!

I know I didn’t talk about salvation today, but just know that God loves you. Jesus loves you. There is hope in Jesus and Jesus alone. God loves you more than anything that you know. So, put all of your hope in God and seek him and he will show himself to you. Seek him truthfully with all honesty in your heart and he will be with you.
