The main message of the bible is actually not to love, it’s Jesus. The Old Testament revolved around Jesus, the New Testament revolved around Jesus. The message is Jesus not love.
With that being said, I hear you.
I too have seen in the bible to love one another just as God has loved you. I have seen that explicitly stated in the bible. The only reason why we hate is because of our own sin nature.
Let’s talk about this for a second.
Our sin nature causes us to hate
Sin is the thing that separates us from God. Sin actually makes our lives painful and yet, we can’t help but to sin. Our sin hurts us in so many ways and God forgives all of us for it.
Our sin nature is the thing that causes wars, killings, atrocities, etc. etc.
Our sin nature causes us to hate one another.
What happens is that immature Christians often give Christianity a bad name.
I get it, I get it, you see those Christians who are so angry at what people do and you wonder, why do they act like that when God doesn’t want that? Let me ask you this, do people sin? Yes, everyone sins. Even those Christians who are doing their best to live a life that God would love.
Part of that sin is the hate that we have in our hearts towards other people. Our wrongdoings oftentimes will be an example of our whole principle. I’ll be honest here, I too have acted like this before.
Now let me tell you this, I have been a musician for a long time, I have been in sales for a long time, I have done both of these jobs and I know the stereotypes that are associated with each of them. None of them are good
As a guitarist, you oftentimes have the stereotype that you cannot read music. As a salesman, you often have the stereotype that you are a liar. I am both of these things, and I am none of them. I can read music just as well as the next musician, I am a salesman and I am not a liar. I don’t lie in the job either.
What I’m trying to say is, not everyone is like that.
God is not like that.
But why do people still act that way?
So first off, EVERYONE is aggressive towards EVERYONE. I’ve been around the block and you’re always going to find people who hate you because you’re you. Haha! So it doesn’t matter if you’re Christian or not, it’s not just Christians who are doing this, it’s everyone. Why don’t you look at your guy friend and say, “why does he do this, it must be a guy thing?” or if you have a girl friend why don’t you say, “why does she do this, it must be a girl thing?” because you’re stereotyping Christians and stereotyping is something that shouldn’t be done in the first place.
If you stereotype someone with their race, gender, religion, etc. etc. that’s not right. That’s wrong
If you say that Christians are always angry at the world, do you even have any Christian friends who you can ask this question to? And if you don’t, then have you ever even met a Christian? And if you haven’t, why are you judging us based off of something you don’t even know about?
I feel like this question doesn’t even make any sense
Christians do love the world. Christians love the world more than anything. Our God loves the world and we want the world to go to heaven. It’s our belief that the world could go to heaven. It’s our hope that the world can go to heaven.
We do love the world, any mature Christian will tell you the exact same thing. I say mature because when you’re new to the faith, you have a lot of things wrong. You still have a lot of things wrong when you become more mature, but you at least can tell the difference between right and wrong.
Broadcast
God loves you, Jesus loves you. We hope that you can go to heaven. I don’t care what you’ve done, I only care for the fact that you might or might not go to heaven. God can win you in life. And God can send you to heaven. You can go to heaven, so always look for God and he will guide you.
