A Christian’s response to an atheist?

Why does evil happen to good people? Why is there such a thing as torture? Why can’t we live a life without violence? God has the answer to all of these things. I’m not trying to fight atheists but rather I would like it that you would come and get to know God. Let’s get started here.

So first off

            I don’t believe that you don’t believe in God. As a matter of fact, I believe that you believe that God is real, yet, you still choose to go your own path. You still think that your own way is better than God’s way. Why do I think that? Let me tell you why

            The bible states that something would happen to atheists who know that God is real and yet continue to do their own bad things. That thing is homosexuality.

            Let me tell you this. I knew a homosexual one time and she asked me a lot of religious questions and then she said, how come there are atheists then? And I said to her, why do you hate God? And she said, do you think you know everything. I said to her, the bible says that if you know that God is real, yet you don’t follow his word, then God will turn you to your own iniquities and you’ll become homosexual. That’s God’s punishment. Another person looked at her and said, do you know that God is real? She said, Isn’t it obvious?

            So, I don’t think that you don’t believe in God, rather, you hate God with all that you have and you want other people to hate God with all that they have too because you don’t want to be alone when judgement day comes. I rather believe that you don’t want anything to do with God because he convicts you of your sins.

Now that we know each other, let’s talk a little more

            You can complain all you want to me about all of the things that there are in the world, it doesn’t matter, because in the end you’ll be the one accountable to God about all of the bad things that have happened in your life.

Don’t get me wrong

            Don’t get me wrong, I know that there are probably some atheists out there who really don’t believe in God for the sole purpose of they just can’t believe in him. Well, what is holding you back? Why don’t you believe in God? God is certainly worth believing in, he gives you a free life, he gives you a place to live, hot meals, he might give you a car, he could make you rich, God can do a whole bunch of stuff but just make that decision to start believing and you will start believing.

            I’m not trying to hurt an atheist who is out there, but the truth is the truth. Have I not said the truth and I can’t read minds? I can’t read minds but God tells us that these things are true in the bible, So knowing that, you now know that God is real because he literally just read your mind and God is the only one who can do that.
