What religion do I believe in?

So, I feel like this question is actually a misguided question that doesn’t ask appropriately. It’s a question that kind of doesn’t make any sense. What religion do I believe in? There are a few religions that I could believe in that would believe in Jesus as the son of God. Let me share with you why this question doesn’t make any sense.

You’re not supposed to believe in religion

            So, it doesn’t make any sense because you’re not supposed to believe in religion, you’re supposed to believe in Jesus. You’re supposed to believe in God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus. If you believe in religion, it can fail you.

            What do I mean that religion can fail you? If you go to a church, that church can fail you, if you listen to a preacher, that preacher can fail you. Christianity can fail you. God will never fail you.

I do identify myself as a Christian

            So, what is a Christian? A Christian is supposed to mean, little Christ. We are smaller versions of Jesus. As Christians we are supposed to replicate what Jesus does and teaches so that way the whole world can replicate what we do.

            So, you’re not supposed to believe in religion, you’re supposed to believe in Jesus.

I’ve had pastors from all walks of life

            I’ve had pastors and preachers from all walks of life and I can honestly tell you that they teach similar things and different things. I’ve had pastors and priests and I honestly want to say that there is no reason as to why I should know so much about God if it wasn’t for God himself.

            I’ve realized that God is the reason why I am going to heaven and no other reason. Like, with all of the prejudice, hate, evil, corruption, and violence that there is in the world, I can’t imagine anyone who would even know what the truth is.

            I have learned the truth and have built my faith upon the truth for many years and through God and God alone, I was able to stay strong in the faith throughout many years of hardship.

Let’s look at that a little more carefully now

            Our parents, might not have God and yet they tell us about him. Our teachers, might not have God and yet they tell us about him. Our leaders, might not have God and yet they tell us about him. Why is it that this happens?

            If you look at the reason why all of these people still talk about God, is because he is real. God is real and his spirit dwells in each of us and his spirit teaches us these things.

            Our God gives strength to do what is right, and it’s by his Spirit, do we do the right things in life.

            I know that Jesus loves you all. I know that God loves you all. I know that God will never fail you. I know that Jesus will never fail you. I pray that everyone in the entire world may get to know God the same way that I know him. I pray that the whole world might get saved.
