Does God have purpose in my life?

Absolutely, and his purpose is that he had pleasure in creating me. I am not trying to sound like I’m arrogant, but the bible said that God created everything for his pleasure. He created me, you, the world, for his pleasure. But I get it, you’re asking what purpose does God have for my life? I get it, here let me share with you what some of my purposes in life are.

To love and worship God with all my heart, strength, and mind

            That is my primary goal in life. To worship God with all my heart, strength, and mind. God built us for the purpose of worshipping him. We have to worship him in order to fulfill our destiny.

            The reason why people get addicted to not only drugs, but to work, money, gambling, guitars, eating, etc. etc. is because we have a hole in our hearts that need to be filled. We all have a hole in our hearts that need to be filled with God.

            We all have a thirst that needs to be quenched with God’s spirit.

            However, when we don’t have God in our hearts, we look for things to fill that heart with whatever we can find. That’s when addictions to strange things turn out.

            I actually got addicted to music, haha! I remember one time when I couldn’t put down the guitar. I literally was hooked onto the guitar. I’ll tell you why it was an addiction. I literally missed meals playing the guitar. I would lose sleep playing the guitar, I made music my god and I just loved it, however, I can honestly say, that it ruined me. I wasn’t doing my homework because I was playing guitar too much. I was always doing something musical and it became a vice.

            Today I still am a musician, however, I have brought it down significantly because now, I don’t have that thing always telling me to play more music. Now, music feels a little like nothing, dead even.

            I remember my heart would always be filled with music, just as long as I was playing it. I so loved music, now it’s dead to me.

            I realized when I quit being addicted to music that God was the one who I was searching for the whole time. I was looking for God, and no matter how hard I tried to fill my heart with music again, I just couldn’t, it felt dead.

            That’s when I started to seek God. I started to seek God and I found that he filled my heart. He does fill my heart, with hope, courage, love, and happiness.

My occupation purpose

            I personally believe that I was sent here to this earth to play music. But not just any music. I was sent here to play music for God. Christian music. Godly music. Music that is what God wants it to be. Not what I want it to be, but something that would glorify God with all that he is.

            I don’t want to make music that is earthly, even though I do like some earthly music, I want to make music that God would approve of. I pray that God would show me what way is the right way and I would go to that way.

            I also believe that I was sent here to spread the gospel to the world. This blog is doing exactly that. One day, when this blog gets bigger, I will have hundreds of thousands of followers or viewers and I’ll tell you this right now, it was God who did this, not me.

            God is the one who spreads the gospel, I’m just an instrument that he uses.
