How to research topics for your music blog

I think that this is a really good question. Especially if you’re new to blogging and you just haven’t found that ease in writing just yet. I remember back when I first started to write, I had written about maybe 20 or 30 blog posts and I said to myself, “Welp I’ve covered Christian music and all the ins and out of music and Christianity.

            That’s when I figured that this blog was going to take a lot more work than what I originally expected.

            Let’s talk about how to research topics for your music blog posts.

Using the internet to your advantage

            As a blogger, the internet is actually your best friend. I know I know it sounds cliché and there must be some other way to come up with ideas for blogging on the internet.

            Actually I think that reading other blog posts in your niche is actually a really good way to write blog posts yourself.

            I one time heard a comment by someone and they said that in order to become a great blogger, you need to first read great blogs.

            However, you’re not limited to just reading blogs, you can literally search on google or bing different topics to write about in your blog niche. 9 times out of 10 I am always researching things on google as to what to write about by literally typing in, “What to write about in a music blog/Christian blog?”

            You can also go to YouTube and just try and find inspiration. Just think with an open mind and ask yourself the question, How can I use this for my blog? And you will get ideas.

My method of getting out of writers block

            The thing that I do to get out of writers block is I just literally start to write about anything and everything. I will literally start to write and I won’t stop until I’ve found a good topic to write about in the words that I’ve written.

            Afterwards I will structure my sentences and put them in order in order to make it more comprehensible.

            There are loads of ways that you can get out of writers block, however, you have to be the one to work out all the details.
