Top three music stores in my area

I am actually fortunate enough to live in an area where music is highly encouraged. There isn’t a big music scene in this area, however, you can find it if you go up north. The biggest music scene that’s in the area has to be in D.C., I live in Northern Virginia. Anyways, let’s go over the top music stores in this area.

Guitar Center

            There are actually a few Guitar centers in this area. I know I know they are the king of all music instruments. They have electric, acoustic, twelve string, seven string guitars. They have DJ equipment, mixing equipment, mastering equipment, recording equipment just to name a few.

            I absolutely love walking into guitar center and I’m just so encouraged by all of the music that is being shown. Everyone is doing something music related and it couldn’t be better.

            I remember the first time that I ever went to Guitar Center, my dad took my friend Skyler and I to Guitar Center and we just checked out a bunch of guitars. We played for like an hour the guitar with each other and we were pleasing the crowd. HAHA!

            It truly was a magical experience going into a Guitar Center. I will never forget it.

Music and Arts

            I know I know, some of you are saying that music and arts is owned by Guitar Center. Well, there’s a reason why I put Music and Arts on this list.

            Guitar Center is awesome and I would go there in a heartbeat. However, there aren’t too many of them around and if you want something a little closer and smaller just to get regularly maintenance things on your guitar or instrument, well Music and Arts is the place to go.

            You can do anything from sax lessons, to guitar lessons. Music and arts will teach you. What to do. It’s great because they sell the main things at Music and Arts and that’s guitar picks, tuners, strings, reeds, small pieces, etc. etc.

Dale City Music

            I love going into Dale City Music. Dale City Music is a mom and pop music store. They have an excellent selection of guitars. They even have some top of the line Fenders. I love playing their Breedlove guitars. I Would say that this store takes the cake.

            Why do I say that?

            Because they’re so friendly! They are so friendly and I love it when we’re just in the store and they just start talking to you about music. They also have a bigger selection of guitar equipment than Music and Arts.

            They have excellent percussive instruments so that you can go and home record with. I absolutely love the people there, this one has to  be my favorite music store.
