Does God forgive all sins?

Excellent question, I have too myself asked this question. Can God forgive all sins? Is there an unforgiveable sin? Let’s talk about this for a second.

Does God forgive all sins?

            No matter what you’ve done in the past, you can always be forgiven by God in order to go to heaven. God wants the whole world to go to heaven. God wants you to go to heaven. You could have been Ted Bundy and God would have wanted you to go to heaven.

            I know those are heavy words to say, but it’s true. One sin is not different than any other. In the eyes of the Lord, we are all sinners.

            However, the great news is that you can go to heaven.

            I remember once I heard a preacher saying this, “I would not send my son to die for any of you. However, God sent his son to die for us, and that’s because God knows love on a whole other level.”

            God sent Jesus to die for our sins. You see in order for us to go to heaven, we were supposed to have something take our place on the death penalty that God bestowed unto us.

            Therefore, God sent his son Jesus to die for us so that we may live with him forever.

            This is great news! Now, we can INHERIT the kingdom of God! That’s a legal term used to describe something that is given to the rightful owners. The people who will inherit the kingdom of God will be the people who believe in Jesus.

            If you just believe in Jesus, then you will go to heaven.

            It doesn’t matter what sins you’ve done in life.

The unforgiveable sin

            First off before I say this, I want to be clear that God forgives all sins.

            However, there is something in the bible that states that there are certain things that you shouldn’t do and are very grave if you do them.

            The thing is that you can’t do blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

            What do I mean by that?

            In this instance the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit refers to the complete rejection of God and his word.

            Let’s do a little bible study right here.

            What is the role of the Holy Spirit? The role of the Holy Spirit is to convict us. It’s our conscience that tells us what is right and wrong.

            The Holy Spirit is actually known to have a personality. The Holy Spirit has a personality that can be grieved. And when you grieve the Holy Spirit, it can turn into blasphemy if you’re not listening to God.

            Imagine this, what would happen if you caught your wife or husband cheating on you, right in the act? Would you stay there and watch? No. so what happens is that the Holy Spirit watches what we do and if what we do constantly grieves the Holy Spirit, well one day the Holy Spirit will just leave us. That’s when we know that we have done something seriously wrong.

            That’s the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

            By the way all of this is in the bible, I’m not making this up from my own theology, you can go and look this up on your own.

            Fear not though! Anything is possible with God, if you want God in your life, then seek him. It is not God’s will that anyone perishes.

But just remember and remind yourself when you are facing trouble ask yourself this question, “Does God forgive all sins?” and you say to yourself with a big smile, “Yes, he does!” Because he does.

There is a reason why this happens

            There is a reason why the Holy Spirit leaves us eventually.

            God himself wants us to be happy, God wants us to live a life that is fulfilling. God wants us to be free and if you feel like being away from God is being free, then God doesn’t want you to be unhappy.

There are grave consequences to doing this

            The consequences are grave for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. God wants you in heaven and God knows that heaven is the best thing for you. So, always look for God because God will be the best thing that ever happened to you.

I know this subject is a little tricky

            So let’s be clear here, God forgives all sins, nothing is impossible with God.

            However, there are rules that need to be followed. I mean just because God forgives all sins doesn’t mean that we can go out and kill everyone that we see and say that God forgave us for it? That’s not how it works.

            That’s the reason why that’s said, it’s meant for people who break the rules. God still wants them in heaven, but seek out God and God will always be there for you. This subject requires wisdom so seek out wisdom, seek out God and God will always show you it.
