When does God bless us?

God blesses us all the time, it’s just that with our point of view and with our human nature, we often overlook or even tend to ignore all of the blessings that God has given us in our lives.

            Let’s talk about this for a second.

My first blog

            My first blog was actually a little bit after I had gotten out of jail. I wanted to start a blog about Christianity and I wanted to make it my career.

            So what happened was that at the time, I didn’t have a job. I was jobless and I wasn’t going to school. And I felt like such a huge loser just being at home with nothing to do.

            Even though I was writing in the blog, I felt as if though it was such a huge investment with little to no return on it. I didn’t know that I could actually have hundreds of views one day.

            So I made that blog, and to be honest with you I don’t remember what I called it, but I made it and I made a few posts on it. And never went back to it again.

            I was 22 when that happened. I am now 26 it’s been four years and I didn’t start this blog until I was 24 turning 25. So it had passed around 3 years before I started this blog.

            The thing is that I started this blog when I had the money to support myself in a way. I didn’t start this blog when I first wanted to, but nonetheless it worked out either way.

            Now, I wish that I had more time to dedicate to this blog. The more time that I dedicate to this blog, the more money that I could potentially make.

            This is ingratitude. I have two jobs and they provide me with resources. However, I am so ungrateful that I wish I didn’t have them so I could focus on this blog.

            That’s not good. I need to be thankful for my jobs because God is the one who gave them to me. God gave me these jobs that I have and if I can’t be thankful for something that I prayed for, then why should God give me something else.

            So, I learned this, sometimes God gives us the things that we want, however, we don’t remember that we prayed for it first. We prayed for the things that we asked for and sure enough, God gives it to us.

            God gave us the thing and now we don’t want it anymore.

            I could have perfectly written this blog without having a job and could have been making money years ago if I had stuck with the blog. But I didn’t have faith in God and that’s my sin.

So, God blesses us all the time

              God does in fact bless us all the time. Its us who doesn’t appreciate what he has given us.

              Do this, pray for something and write it down. Write it down in a journal and look back in a few years and see if God answered the thing that you prayed about. Look back within a few months and see if God answered the thing that you prayed about.

              Do this because you will see that God does in fact answer your prayers, it’s us who doesn’t remember what we prayed for.

              I hope that I have encouraged some people out there to look out for their dreams. God does answer prayers and he can make dreams come true. Be sure to seek him out in all things that you do. If you want to learn more about God, then seek God. Seek God with everything that you are and you will find him.
