How can I tell if God is going to decide to send me to heaven

God is just in all that he does. It is true that there will be people who end up in hell once this world passes through, however you don’t have to be a part of it. There is a single way to get to heaven, Let me share with you just how to get to heaven.

Believe in Jesus

            If you just believe in Jesus, you will go to heaven.

            However, believing in Jesus doesn’t mean that you’re going to believe in Jesus and then do whatever you want. Believing in Jesus means that you have committed your life to God.

            Believing in Jesus means that you believe in the words that he says and loves them and him.

            The bible says that whosoever loves me listens to the words that I teach and does them. That was Jesus who said that.

            Therefore, believing in Jesus literally means that you don’t have sex outside of marriage, you listen to your parents, you work hard, you don’t use foul language, etc. etc. All of those laws are in the New Testament and those laws apply to us today.

What about good works?

            So I understand that you may think that good works gets you into heaven. However, that’s not the case. Let me share with you why that’s not the case. Let’s read the bible shall we?

            John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son so that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.”

            This literally says that he gave his only begotten son so that WHOSOEVER believes in him SHALL NOT perish but have everlasting life.

            This literally gives the method on how to get to heaven.

It doesn’t say that in order to get to heaven you need to have done good works. It says WHOSOEVER believes in him SHALL NOT perish but have everlasting life.

            I know some of you have read that bible verse that talks about good works. However, good works is a result of faith in Jesus and not cause.

Ephesians 2:8-9

            “For by grace are ye saved and not of yourselves. It is the gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast.” This literally states that it’s not by our works that we are saved but by faith alone.
