Christian songs about God

So, the first thing that I want to say is the obvious. Obviously when we think of Christian music, we think about the song talking directly about God, Right? Well, in today’s Christian music, that’s not always the case.

            Though songs may have Christian themes in them like love, happiness, joy, and peace; they don’t directly talk about God.

            As a matter of fact, they give the perspective of all of these things in the world’s perspective sometimes. I know because I have heard of these Christian songs on the radio.

            So, today, I’m going to share with you all a list of all of the biblically sound music that you can hear in todays radio, let’s get started.

Salvation is here

            Salvation is here is an awesome song.

            I believe that Salvation is here was written by Hillsong back in the early 90s. I absolutely love what this song says in the chorus and in the verses. The music is very inspiring and the lyrics directly reflect what God wants to teach us.

            “Cause I know my God saved the day and I know his word never fails and I know my God made a way for me.” –Salvation is here

            I actually like the Lincoln Brewster version of this song the most. Well, I’ll be honest here I love the hard rock versions of songs so naturally I would be more inclined towards this song in this manner.

Everlasting God

            Everlasting God is directly giving all glory to God in the chorus. It states, “You are the everlasting God, the everlasting God. You never feint you won’t grow weary. You are the defender of the weak, you comfort those in need, and you lift us up on wings like eagles!”

            How much more biblical can you get than that?

            It’s happy and it’s what God would want us listeners to hear.

God is on the move

            7eventh time down made this song that’s on the radio and I absolutely love it. It goes, “Anytime in weakness someone falls upon their knees, or dares to speak the truth that sets men free, anytime the choice is made to stand upon the word. I know, I know, I know, I know, God is on the move on the move Hallelujah. God is on the move in many mighty ways…”

            Enough said.

A word about Christian music

            It’s my personal belief that Christin music should glorify God at all times. I don’t think that Christian music should take place in politics or social issues because that’s not worshipping God.

            I get it, you hear all of the injustice and unfair things that happen in this world to all sorts of people.

            You think that someone should write about all of these unfair things and spread the message about them.

            Well let me ask you this, don’t you think that God should be the one to address all of those things that happen in the world?

            God doesn’t need armies or policemen to take care of the wicked, although he does allow it. God could perfectly do the justice that he needs to do on his own. Trust in that.

            If you want to go to heaven, pray about it. If you want to know the way to get to heaven, John 3:16 in the Bible states exactly how to get to heaven. You get to heaven by believing in Jesus. So, believe in Jesus and live.
