Bible Study Topics

So, you’re a new preacher and you want to get some inspiration to get you started with your first bible study?

            Say no more, Professor, Dr, Mr, German is on the case. (I’m not a real doctor or professor, I’m just someone who loves God more than anything else.)

            Sit down and let’s talk about all of the different topics that you can blog about.

You Church’s mission

            Different churches have different beliefs in how to get to heaven, how to read the bible, and even how to pray.

            I personally believe that you are to pray on your own when no one is watching, read the bible with the Holy Spirit giving you wisdom as to what to do, and also that Jesus died for our sins and if we believe in him, then we will go to heaven.

            I actually do hope that everyone else believes the same thing too because it’s in the bible as to why those things are good.

            However, you be the one to explain your church’s point of view.

            I am know this sounds very ecumenical, however, I am not an ecumenical believer. I actually believe that there is a single way to believe in God. I do believe that my church believes In the same thing.

            I just know that God will be the one present when everyone starts to share their message to the world. I cannot guide everyone’s words into doing what they want to do, however, God can guide armies into doing everything.

            I also believe that if you know me enough to be reading this blog post, then you believe in the same things that I do, so therefore I wouldn’t have to worry too much about who believes in what because you probably agree with what I say.

            It’s actually a whole cool internet thing that you can do to attract people who think the same way that you think. I actually know how to do that and so I don’t have to worry too much about attracting the wrong crowd.

Your personal mission

            Your personal mission should reflect God. Your personal mission should have God written all over it because God is after all our source of strength and intelligence.

            God is the one who gave us the wisdom to work hard each and every day of our lives. God is the one who gave us the strength to say no to the things we needed to say no to.

            God is our sole purpose for living.

            I sometimes hear people say to me, What is the purpose of living? I often times reply, it’s to worship God.

            We need to worship God in order to live appropriately. Our lives cannot function without God.

            Having a life without God is as empty as it can get.

            I have seriously heard in songs that people say it feels empty without that certain thing, they say that there is something missing from the place. I know what it is, it’s God. God is the one that needs to fill that empty space. Without God, life is empty.

            Therefore, say your mission, but don’t forget to mention God in there.

The end of the world

            The end of the world is here already. The last days were here ever since Jesus died.

            Now, I feel like God is practically knocking on the world’s doors because of all of the things that are happening.

            There are earthquakes in divers places, there are wars and rumours of wars everywhere, there are famines, pestilences, and sons betraying their fathers and daughters betraying their mothers.

            All of these things are happening and it’s God’s way of saying that the world is truly coming to an end!

            There is no other way around it, Jesus spoke these words 2000 some years ago, and Jesus’ words are happening now. Why wouldn’t we talk about it?

The kind of music that you should listen to

            My Church specifically doesn’t believe that the electric guitar, bass, and drum set can be used to worship God.

            As a matter of fact, Contemporary Christian music is condemned.  

            However, I still listen to modern Christian music because I believe that Christian music can worship God through these means.

            I know this might spark a controversy in the Christian community that I am building right now, however, no need to argue, don’t share your personal point of view on here, why don’t you go out and make a blog about why you think that a certain type of Christian music should be played at Church.

Bible Verses

            Specific bible verses can cause people to think about what it is that they’re doing in their life.

            When you first start off preaching, talk about the basics of Christianity. There will always be a beginner in the faith no matter where you go.

            Therefore, always cover the basics and try and share with people the utmost truth.

            You’re going to need bible verses in order to defend your faith. If you don’t refer to the bible, there is no way that you can preach in the church. The bible is our lifeblood.

            I hope that I have share with you guys some valuable insight as to what to do a bible study about.
