Having friends at your side is important to us, I know. However, we cannot let that guide us from the truth. The truth is that most of the world doesn’t like what we say. Most of the world doesn’t appreciate us. However, we know the truth because it’s evident in our lives, it’s power runs through our bodies, and we know that God is real and is going to come again on the earth a second time to judge us all.
But I understand, you want friends, you want people that you can confide in. You don’t want to be physically alone in this world. It’s only human nature to want to be with other people. The need for that social interaction is absolutely necessary for all of us.
Here are some tips on how to start an online community of people who think the same way that you think.
Be the change that you want to see in the world
I know this sounds cliché, but if you want change in the world, then start off by being the change.
The world is full of ideas that want you to believe that the world needs more good, or more hope, or it needs more money or resources.
No, this world needs God and if you bring God to the table of the world, then the world will become a brighter place to live.
Bring the bible to the table
There is no negotiation unless the bible is there. Not for negotiation, but rather as a guide as to how the negotiation should happen.
I’ll give you an example, When telling people just what you think about sacraments and the church, bring bible verses in the conversation to help guide what you are all about.
I personally don’t believe that the sacraments have anything to do with the bible. Why? Because the bible never mentions sacraments!
That’s actually a thing that Catholics have created in order to practice religion.
I’m not trying to bash anybody’s religion, I’m just not Catholic and I don’t think that Catholicism is the correct way to go.
Don’t get offended by it if you are Catholic, you don’t think that everyone is going to agree with you with everything right? Well I’m no different. I don’t agree with Catholicism.
However, I don’t want to argue with anyone who is Catholic and I hope that you have God in your hearts and in your minds truly with all your heart.
If you want to be an online community, then start posting things online
Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, YouTube, it all is a gold mine of wealth and opportunity if you can work hard at it.
I remember back when I first started this blog, I was just determined to get the blog rolling within a few years. I was determined that I was going to work hard at all of the things that I do and the blog was one of them.
I mainly wanted to spread my Christian music, and I know if I keep working at this blog hard enough then I will have a large following of dedicated followers.
I was a little scared about starting this blog though I’m not going to lie to you. I was so scared because I was scared of failure. I was scared of failing at the sole thing that I had a chance at.
Well that’s not true, I actually had a lot of chances throughout life. God has always provided me with chances to do the things that I wanted to do, it’s just that I never went out and did them.
But yeah, start posting things on the internet and people will follow.
Have patience
Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither were you. It takes time to build up an online following. It takes time to make money online, gain influence, and be something worthwhile.
Therefore, have patience with yourself and give yourself a fighting chance.
Some people want to make a lot of money online within the first few months.
Though it is possible that you do that, it’s still hard to do that.
It’s extremely difficult to make a lot of money online with a blog that is only a few months old and hardly has any content on it.
If you were to ask me how to start your blog, I would say it depends. If you’re an experienced blogger with at least 1 year of blogging experience under your belt, then I would say, make between 1000 to 2000 word blog posts every day at least three times a day for the first 6 months before even thinking about trying to put ads and affiliates on your site.
If you’re brand spanking new, then I would suggest writing between 400 to 800 word blog posts each day for the first year.
What happens is that it’s extremely difficult to start something new with guns blazing if you don’t know what you’re doing.
However, once you know what you’re doing and you know how to research topics and write great content at a fast rate, then it becomes easier to make bigger content, faster.
If you want to make a YouTube Channel, I would say that it depends on what exactly it is that you’re doing.
I personally don’t put videos on YouTube, I will in the future, however, I feel like that’s a lot of work and I just can’t commit to that just yet.
But if you were to put videos on YouTube, if you’re an entertainer who educates and entertains people on the internet, then I would suggest that you make the longest types of videos that you can possibly make and put them out there.
Of course you have to make them good because no one wants to see bad videos, but try your best to learn about pre-production and production as those will be the biggest parts of your YouTube career.
This is where the patience comes in, It’s going to take time in order to build a following on YouTube or a blog so be prepared for the long haul.
Stick with a handful of social medias and leave the rest up to God
Research the social meadias that your market is in and stick with that social media.
Why? Because it’s very difficult to maintain all of the socials at the same time. I remember once I was trying to maintain all of my socials and it was chaos. I was having to deal with all sorts of people from all walks of life.
They were honestly just people who weren’t mature spiritually. They had a passion for God, but they weren’t mature in their walk with him and so they were always arguing amongst themselves in my community as to who was right.
It was so difficult to maintain that I ended up leaving all of them at the same time because it just got too much.
Therefore, if you don’t want to get burned out, just start a few social channels, currently I have two linked to this blog, my twitter and this blog.
I am going to expand once I have money to hire a social media manager, but until then, this will do.
Broadcast
I hope that I have inspired some people to start their online Christian communities.
