A more in depth look at how to write blog posts

In an essay, you often times have a sort of format that you work with in order to actually get a good grade in the class. You start off with a hook that hooks your readers in, You say a few words as to what the essay is going to be about, you say your thesis, and then finally you write your transition sentence.

            However in blogging, it’s not always the case to follow those strict guidelines. Often times in writing blog posts, you need to break up your paragraphs into small paragraphs depending on what you’re saying.

            You have to move quickly from topic to topic and use as little words as possible in the best format possible.

            Today, I will show you guys some tips on how to format your blog posts correctly.

So for me

            For me, it’s a little different than most people. I can actually come up with ideas really quickly and fairly easy because writing is just natural to me.

            However, for most people it’s more necessary to plan ahead your blog topics.

            I remember back when I first started writing in this blog that I would just write.

            I’m not going to say that I was an amateur at writing because I knew how to write, I just needed a refresher.

            However, when I first started writing in this blog post, I was able to pick up quickly some of the things because I had help from one of my coworkers on how to write better and also I was researching up online how to use different things in an appropriate manner.

            It was easy for me because I was willing to put in the work to reteach myself on how to write and sure enough I write nice blog posts.

            I sometimes reread the blog post just to make sure that I didn’t do any big mistakes. I know that I’m not a professional yet, but I also know that it helped me to write a few essays in college.

            I remember that in my psychology class, I  had to write a few essays and my teacher gave me great notes on the essays. I was really proud of myself because all throughout my high school career, I never had good scores on my essays and now that I’m in college and I’ve been working on my essays, my teacher has given me good grades? Yes I think that, that is appropriate.

            But back on topic. For most people starting out with some brainstorming techniques and then making a rough draft is an excellent way to get your blog posts in an excellent shape really fast.

            ***Here is a pro tip. If you want to do what I do and just sit down and write great blog content for hours a day, then practice writing blog posts for hours a day. Put up your blog posts no matter how bad they look and in time, you will have great blog posts coming out of your fingertips.***

            It takes time to do what I do. It takes time no matter what to make great blog content, but once you get the ball rolling, it gets easier.

Use brainstorming techniques that you learned in school

            Try just writing and see what you come up with, try using a web in order to see more clearly the different possibilities, Etc. Etc.

            It actually works once you can see the different things that you think about in a particular subject and it will make your blog posts more concise and well-refined.

            In AP English in high school, we had to practice timed writing in order to write well for the AP English exam. It was difficult, however, in those timed writings is where I learned how to write really well. Even my teacher said that the person who most improved in my class was me.

            So, why don’t you practice timed writing and see how far you get.

            I hope that I have inspired some people to start blogging. Writing in a blog is such an essential part in my life now, I really can’t imagine doing anything else as a hobby.
